Discussion Topic 2 – Compare and contrast the risk factors and epidemiology of endometrial cancer and ovarian cancer.

Initial Post: Present the epidemiology and risk factors for endometrial and ovarian cancers. Include incidence and prevalence, pathophysiology and who is at greatest risk for these cancers.

Discuss interventions with your colleagues that might be used to reduce the incidence and prevalence of these cancers as well as ways to reduce a woman’s risk for developing either of these cancers. Also discuss different treatment plans. Cite current research findings, national guidelines, and expert opinions and controversies found in the medical and nursing literature to support your position.
