Determine the factor of safety for this slope using the Bishop’s Simplified Method in WinSTABL. Using the critical failure surface from the WinSTABL solution, determine the factor of safety for this slope using a spreadsheet or other design tool solutions for: a. Bishop’s Simplified Method b. The Ordinary Method of Slices Clearly plot the critical failure surfaces, the locations of the origins of the critical surfaces and the associated coordinates, and the radius (labelled) of each critical circle on scaled AutoCAD drawings of the section. Each critical circle should be labeled and should include the resulting factor of safety for each critical circle. You may combine the critical circles from the two analyses if the information does not get too crowded.
