I need a research literature review including peer reviewed, scholarly studies from 2020 related to older adults and mental health during the pandemic, preferably in the US. I could also include studies that are focused on stress, anxiety, depression, sadness among older adults in the US. My study found that among older adults in the US, females, low economic status, living alone, and social isolation all were associated with high incidences of stress/anxiety loneliness/sadness & poor health outcomes. My paper revolves around how poor mental health can lead to physical health consequences- and how the pandemic has impacted those over aged 65 in the USA.
