A significant ethical issue (see the specific instructions that govern an issues essay.)SourcesA minimum of 5 peer-reviewed, scholarly sources should be used. Magazines, newspaper articles, websites, etc. should not be used, except to illustrate minor points or to contribute to the rhetorical character of the essay. They should not constitute support for the substantive argument of the paper. Essays should engage the main argument of the sources. Do not use sources as mines for sentences that seem to support your points. Sometimes author include information or arguments with which they do not agree.
