I find children’s stories and story telling very insightful to culture.Teaching your young is such a fundamental function of culture that children’s stories show us what morals they are trying to teach and reinforce, and even they way the story is told can tell us a lot about what interactions are valued, or not.  So find a children’s story from Jewish American Culture online and try to pick out how the culture is speaking through the story.  With an open mind, hungry for more information about the culture read the story (or listen to the story if on video) and learn.
Provide the book, source, and what you have learned about the culture through the interactions with this story.
