In this module, you will submit the final project for this course, your networking recommendations for the new office of the Newton Ad Agency.

As you prepare your final project, be sure to revise your work on Milestones One and Two to respond to feedback from your instructor. Keep in mind that you also need to add Sections V and VI to your project, the sections on network errors and the conclusion.

Milestone 1 Part I and II

For this assignment, you were to begin the stages of your final project. This includes Part I and Part II.

Part I of the project is an introduction that identifies the key considerations involved in the network recommendations. It should also identify the location you have chosen to investigate and any potential restraints.

You should have selected 1 of the 3 proposed locations

You should include the minimal devices required to create the network; router, switches, etc.

Part II of the project examines local area network (LAN) topologies. It includes identifying and comparing LAN topologies and recommending a topology to allow for optimal support packages.

You should have decided on a topology for your network design and the reasons why.

Milestone 2 Part III and IV

For this assignment, you were to research internet service providers at that location that you selected from Milestone 1. This was supposed to involve Internet research that supports your decision and details more about the business case for that selection.

This included Parts III and IV of the final project submission. This includes:

Explain key considerations for identifying an internet service provider for the new location and recommend the appropriate provider to match the business case. Then, address considerations and make recommendations regarding hardware and software selection, printer configurations, and bandwidth that address business needs. Ideally you should describe a printing service capable of being networked for the location as well as the ability to support. In your consideration for bandwidth you should specify a minimal acceptable data rate for the expected services and traffic as well – this has steadily grown over the years as we’ve started to consume more content within the network – like VoIP, video conferencing, streaming, etc.
