In your Teaching in Nursing: A Guide for Faculty textbook, Bevis is cited for identifying several types of curricula, including hidden curriculum, null curriculum, illegitimate curriculum, and operational curriculum. In your initial post, select one of these curriculum types, describe it, and describe how it was manifested in the school or facility where you teach, or at the school where you completed your undergraduate studies. Does the type of curriculum you described have positive or negative connotations? Should attempts be made to eliminate this type of curriculum?
