This week’s article provided a case study approach which highlights how businesses have integrated Big Data Analytics with their Business Intelligence to gain dominance within their respective industry.  Search the UC Library and/or Google Scholar for a “Fortune 1000” company that has been successful in this integration. Discuss the company, its approach to big data analytics with business intelligence, what they are doing right, what they are doing wrong, and how they can improve to be more successful in the implementation and maintenance of big data analytics with business intelligence.

Thesis Statement/Outline Assignment

In Module/Week 2, you must develop an outline for the 1,000-1,200 word proposal argument essay that you will write in Module/Week 3. Your outline should include a clear thesis statement and plan of support. Be sure to consider all essay parts identified in “The Elements of Argument (Planning A Proposal Argument)” in the textbook readings, and include at least the minimum requirements listed in the chart below for this week’s assignment. The research sources for this essay have been provided for you in Blackboard. Any additional sources that you may choose to use must be credible academic sources. You must integrate a total of 4 quotations, summaries and/or paraphrases from 3 credible sources to support your thesis statement and provide opposing arguments. Be sure to document your sources correctly according to your documentation style (Current APA, MLA, or Turabian). You may include biblical support.

Part 1

Included below is the minimum that you must include in your thesis/outline; however, taking the time to construct a complete and thorough outline will help you save time when you write your actual essay.

1.  Thesis statement: Clearly states your debatable proposal argument that includes a feasible solution for the problem

2.  Evidence: Presents points that support the thesis based on the principle (In your outline, include at least the minimum number of required paraphrases, summaries, and/or quotes from outside sources as indicated in assignment instructions.)

3. Opposing argument(s): Presents viewpoints opposing your thesis argument giving special consideration to opposition of the ethical principle. (Including the strongest opposition to refute helps build your credibility and convinces your audience to consider or adopt your position.)

4. Documentation Requirements for Outline (Include minimum number of sources required for this assignment.):

If using current APA format, include properly formatted parenthetical intext citations and a References page.

If using current MLA format, include properly formatted parenthetical intext citations and a Works Cited page.

If using current Turabian format, include properly formatted footnotes and Bibliography page.

Part 2

When you are satisfied with the quality of your outline, submit it to Blackboard via the submission link in Module/Week 2 for grading. Do not forget to write your degree program and whether you are using current MLA, APA, or Turabian on the title page and in the “Submission Title” field when submitting your assignment.

Differentiated Instruction Train-The-Trainer Manual

Benchmark – Classroom Management and Behavioral Intervention Plans

Part 1 – Create Classroom Management Plan

Review the “Functional Behavior Assessment Example” to inform this assignment. In 250-500 words design a basic classroom management plan including a classroom mission statement.  Your classroom management plan should include two specific modifications appropriate for the student described within the “Functional Behavior Assessment Example.” Modifications should support creating a healthy, respectful, supportive, and challenging learning environment for young children.

Support your findings with 1-2 scholarly resources.

Part 2 – Behavior Intervention Plan

Review the student information presented in the “Functional Behavior Assessment Example” to create a Behavior Intervention Plan for that student. Use the “Behavior Intervention Plan Template” and take into account the student’s readiness for learning and the multiple influences that may affect her development.

In addition, create two measurable IEP goals specific to the student’s needs, listing each under the “Goals” section of the Behavior Intervention Plan.

Compose a 250-500 word summary that outlines how you will communicate the Behavior Intervention Plan you developed to general educators and other applicable colleagues. Summarize how this communication will help in creating a safe learning environment and promote meaningful learning activities and social interactions for thestudent.

Support your findings with 1-2 scholarly resources.

Part 3 – Classroom Management Mini-Action Plan

In 250-500 words describe a mini-action plan including two interventions you are going to try with the student presented in the “Functional Behavior Assessment Example.”  The interventions should include:

  • Developmentally appropriate instructional interventions that address the young child with exceptionalities and how to adapt to different environments.
  • Strengths, interests, and needs that enable the student to advance and accelerate their learning.
  • Communication to family on how to support the student at home.

Summarize how this preparation and communication will help in creating a safe learning environment and promote meaningful learning activities and social interactions for the student.

Submit the Classroom Management Plan, the Behavior Intervention Plan, and Classroom Management Min-Action Plan as one submission.

Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is not required.

4/1/18 – Showing improvement to 60% on Goal A. Showing improvement on Goals C and D. Little change in Goal B. Social worker made contact with parents, but they are resistant. Continue efforts on Intervention A and C. Intervention F seems to be very effective. Need to increase treatment integrity on Intervention E. Goal B is unique that it is not in the classroom.
