What does the term managing organizational change mean to you? Is it possible to not have change in an organization? Is change best driven by the leadership or is change more effective in a grass roots movement. Should change be resisted at all costs? Is change a good or a bad thing?

What is the value of human resources in a company?

Find a resources about the value of Human Resources  as it relates to staffing in a company.  This can be a website, YouTube video, etc?  Let your imagination and creativity take you to places that you haven’t imagined.

After you find your resources.  Write a quick synopsis.  Your fellow students can respond with their feedback.  The feedback can be either supporting or a critical discussion.

A project manager needs to understand the importance of the acquisition of capital goods. There are many choices for capital good procurement, including buying or leasing new equipment, or buying used equipment. Describe an example from the text or your personal professional experience where your project or organization had to procure capital goods for strategic reasons.  What was the type of equipment (new, used) and how was it purchased? Please comment on the benefits of the choice selected.

What aspect of quality could be improved for future projects?

  4. Suggest three (3) types of integrated analytic features that are needed for compensation planning and decision support in e-Compensation systems.
  5. Assess the barriers that prevent organizations from realizing the potential of Web-based internal equity tools and propose three (3) approaches to overcome those barriers.
  6. Recommend three (3) strategies that HR managers can use to evaluate the quality of market data (surveys, benchmark salary studies, etc.) that they receive from outside sources.
