Written track: Write a short paper (2 page double-spaced pages) delving into a particular topic we discussed in class( thinking sociologically) See this as an opportunity to further explore a topic that sparked your interest, and learn more about it through the research process.
Some sample approaches for the written route: You may have developed an interest in discussions about the sociological imagination broadly, and use the paper to discuss the importance of connecting personal experience and social analysis by discussing your personal connection to any class topic. You may be interested in discussions about marriage and family, and use the paper to detail various media depictions of marriage or family. You may be interested in the role digital culture plays in reinforcing dynamics of social power and privilege through cultural appropriation, and detail various examples that raise conversations about cultural appropriation (hairstyles, different forms of fandom, etc.)

Discussion on Case Perspective.

You will prepare and submit a term paper on Case Perspective. Your paper should be a minimum of 1250 words in length. As he approaches the SAT exam, the teachers’ concern towards his ability to make a successful transition to secondary school is warranted. While most of his peers are able to write and read well, he struggles with such basic skills, which demonstrate his inability to catch up with his colleagues (Jones, Bailey & Jacob, 2014). The situation at home affects Darren more than the younger sister whose performance and school attendance are impressive.

This report only provides the tough environment that Darren lives in but does not indicate that he suffers from any learning and cognitive conditions. He is healthy, active and plays football with his friends within the school playground during break time, a demonstration that his condition is not in any way medical. Since he was enrolled into the school, Darren has struggled academically, scoring low marks and making little progress towards improving his reading and writing skills (Wininger & Norman, 2010). With his energy and deceptively happy life covered with a smiling face, Darren faces some psychological issues that must be addressed in order to help him improve his performance. He also demonstrates strong athletic abilities by engaging in sporting activities within the school during break time with his close group of friends.

Cognitive abilities are characteristics that arise from predisposition and a learning environment which are manifested in the level of creativity, intelligence and motivation. Students who have poor cognitive abilities can develop various conditions associated with learning disabilities, which include attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, dyslexia and even speech disorders (Rodriguez-Campos, et al., 2014). Darren performs poorly in his exams and cannot communicate effectively in class as compared with his peers, a situation that is attributed to his environment. With his father incarcerated for an unknown period of time and the mother absent from home most of the time, Darren lacks the motivation and abilities to develop like a normal child (Jones, Bailey & Jacob, 2014).

the legal issues that housekeeping department forced to confront

I need some assistance with these assignment. the legal issues that housekeeping department forced to confront Thank you in advance for the help! Some rooms are also interconnected rooms to serve an efficient accommodation purpose to many guests and big families. Other hotels also offer suits to the guest (Winter, Doris & Hatfield, 1989).

Hotel offers laundry, dry cleaning facilities, and shoe polishing services among many others in an attempt to make the business environment comfortable through offering these special services. Some restaurants are connected with a bar that sells liquors to guests and this act as a good source of revenue. There are also banqueting, meeting and private party facilities in some big hotels that generate revenue when conferences, meetings or even seminars are held there. Resort hotels have recreational facilities like swimming pool and spa and try to make their place as pleasant as possible through using nice colors, attractive furnishing and most importantly a well kept and efficient staff (Alan & Wortman, 2005).

The department of housekeeping determines largely whether the guests are satisfied when they visit the hotels. This is achieved through fine accommodation and quality service provision to the guests so that they are exited with their visit and stay in the respective hotel. The guest satisfaction and the hygiene factor are the primarily objectives that should be present in any given hotel ( Sudhir, 1985).

The major revenue in hotels is generated by the rooms and the rooms that are not sold in any given night result to lose of revenue for ever. Loosing guests in the rooms can be attributed to poor hygiene factor, poor cleanliness, lack of modernization etc. A guest spends more time in the room alone than any other part of the hotel and hence a clean and hygiene environment will be of great significance.

The guest may check whether the place is dusted off, whether the room is clean and may lose confidence of the place if this is not the case. Dirty and disorderly draws may deter him from putting his/her clothes down.

Discuss Social Injustice and Racial Discrimination.

I need help creating a thesis and an outline on Social Injustice and Racial Discrimination. Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide. An abstract is required.

We live in a society that is sensitive to issues that directly affects people to live. It is paramount that proper mechanisms are used in addressing the challenges as it disintegrates a community which would lead to adverse challenges. I experienced a case concerning racism. At the place where I work as an intern, an incident erupted was an African American felt he was treated unfairly among the employees of the organization. The claim was related to the tasks and amount of pay. The African American employee received less pay per hour while his counterparts received a higher amount. This was seen as social injustice given the guideline by the constitution on the equal pay for equal work.&nbsp. The essence of racism was rife since he was the only African American employee and one would assumption he was paid less because of being a “person of color” (Hoggard & Sellers, 2013).&nbsp. This affected the society we worked as we had a different perspective on the employer.&nbsp. It was contravening the vision and mission of the firm which championed for fair treatment for all.&nbsp. Additionally, clients of the company come from a diverse racial background and made no sense in discriminating a team player because of being different. The prevalence of social injustice influence and clouds our judgment. This is because of the attachment of emotions that were historically staged, For example, in the past different races fought against each other to control major resource. Those who were the majority tend to win and oppress the minority. However, the enactment of the law on the right to work anywhere without discrimination was helped in countering racial cases (Bufacchi, 2012).&nbsp.Racisms affect our homes. The penetration of hate and animosity brews conflicts. For example, if a family had intermarried. Mistrust would emerge as one of the partners would feel the other race is oppressing them and should do something to avenge. This would be a recipe for breaking a united home just because of too much attachment to one’s race. It is paramount to consider the consequences. Frequently, the majority of western countries face cases of the mass shooting in schools or places of worship. This is often fueled by hate because of racial differences as one race feels they need to have a fair share of the resources or feel they are being bullied.&nbsp. It is the mandate of any state to ensure all citizens receive fair treatment lest conflicts erupt. Additionally, social injustice requires proper attention that will help curb it before violence erupts. Political willingness will create an avenue of engaging the public on their rights and the process of having their issues addressed without creating chaos. The significance of unity in society is generated from the way their concerns are handled (Bufacchi, 2012).&nbsp.Equally, the antisocial treatments indicate the prejudices that are manifested through racial discrimination derail the socialization process.&nbsp.Social injustice informs of racial discrimination is caused by lack of proper channels to address a given challenge in the society. In order to have certain issues addressed, for example, unequal employment among the blacks, the groups opt to use racial discrimination as the genesis of their plight Bufacchi, 2012.&nbsp.
