do parental expectations determine the extent of children success.

Need an research paper on do parental expectations determine the extent of children success. Needs to be 4 pages. Please no plagiarism. Every child has a different learning pace. it could be fast for some while it comes slower to others. Some children may be self-sufficient while others could need help guidance and tutoring. It is an accepted fact that every child has a unique learning pace which can be molded and improved with encouragement. This suggests that the same amount of expectations cannot be held with every child. That said, parental involvement does make for overall better performance in children than in the case of those whose parents are less involved. Although there are many sides to parenting, studies show that the greatest influence is cast by a single aspect, parental expectations, according to the Harvard Family Research Project (Harvard 2014). In order to provide a child with a healthy home environment, it is essential to love him unconditionally, irrespective of whether or not he is the brightest of the lot. Now the thing that gets in the way of this unconditional love is our sky-high expectations (Hudson 2014).

An explanation for why parental expectations are so effective on children is that they see themselves, for most of their childhood and even beyond, through their parents’ eyes. Consequently, if a parent believes his child can be a top-dog, that’s what his child will perceive himself to be. On the other hand, if a child has been exposed to derogatory aura at home, he is most likely to accept failure without really trying at all. Similarly, having far greater expectations from your child than his obvious abilities is like expecting a chicken to swim or a cat to fly.&nbsp.

The second type of variable is processes, or the actions that individuals, groups, and leaders engage in as a result of inputs and that lead to certain outcomes. Think of communication, leadership, conflict and negotiation, and power and politics.

Outcomes are the key variables that you want to explain or predict. We’ll be looking at attitudes and stress, task performance, organizational citizenship behavior, and withdrawal behavior. We’ll also explore group cohesion, group functioning, productivity, and survival.

In organizational behavior (OB), we utilize the representation of the world as broken down into three levels. The first level of analysis we will look at is the individual level. At this level we look at individuals’ behavior. Next, recognizing that individuals make up groups, we analyze how group behavior occurs. Finally, organizations are made up of groups of individuals, so we analyze the organization at a systems level.

Discussion Questions

What are some of the concerns you have with the use of artificial intelligence in organizations?

A recent study found that those people who woke up in a positive mood and then regularly accessed Facebook throughout the day generally experienced declining moods as the day progressed. Facebook time has also been found to be correlated with lower satisfaction levels. How can managers address this?

The Problem of Violence in Arab Families and Competence of Social Services in Resolving These Conflicts.

I need help creating a thesis and an outline on The Problem of Violence in Arab Families and Competence of Social Services in Resolving These Conflicts. Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide. An abstract is required.

Domestic conflicts are so high nowadays because of the changes in lifestyles and the weakened relationships within the family. “Any abusive, violent, coercive, forceful, or threatening act or word inflicted by one member of a family or household on another can constitute domestic violence” (Domestic Violence, 2010). The current generation does not like any control over their freedom and when somebody tries to impose certain restrictions upon the freedom conflicts can start to creep in. UAE is a country in which various types of domestic disputes are involved. The presence of the huge volume of the expatriate community has intensified the domestic disputes in UAE.

Waffa Issa (2009) has written in Gulf News dated Mar 19, 2009, that the domestic violence in UAE has dropped more than 57 percentage in 2008 Issa (2009). &nbsp.Domestic disputes even though less in UAE, need some kind of assistance from the social workers. Marriage disputes and divorce-related family problems are some of the major reasons for the domestic disputes in UAE which can be addressed effectively by the social support centres. The expatriate community, locals, and remotely staying locals also can seek the advice of the social service centres for solving their domestic disputes. This paper mainly focuses on domestic disputes and social support extended to such victims from the social support centres in the UAE.

Domestic disputes in UAE and social support

The term domestic disputes or domestic violence usually related to conflicts between the couples in a family. UAE is a country which is following the Muslim laws and the influence of Islamic religion is evident in every aspect of the administration. As per Islamic beliefs, a person can divorce his wife. Lal Mohd (2007) has mentioned that after solemnization of marriage between parties if some problems arise, the husband may divorce his wife (Mohd 2007). Unlike many other religions, divorce can be accomplished easily in the Muslim religion. It is easy for a husband to divorce his wife even if the wife was not willing to do so.
