Discussion: Effects of EFMP on the Family and the Careers of Military Members-WK6

Families with special needs family members likely face difficult choices and compromises. Consider how challenging it would be to weigh difficult issues if some of those choices were actually orders. Enrolling in the Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) is mandatory across all military services for service members with a special needs family member. Because EFMP mandates special needs family members only be assigned to duty stations where there are services to maintain or support the medical, mental health, and educational needs of the family, EFMP enrollment can be seen as career limiting. As a military social worker, understanding the EFMP process—and its perceived compromises—will help you convey accurate information and guidance so your client can be successful in the military and take care of a special needs family member. In this Discussion, you consider the effect of EFMP on career and family.Post (2 to 3 pages)Explain how the following statement may or may not be true: Having a family enrolled in EFMP could be viewed as a career limiting program.Explain how you would collaborate with other professionals in the EFMP program to best support the military family.Required ReadingsHunter, C. Evaluate: USA Voting Trends in Decrease.

I will pay for the following article USA Voting Trends in Decrease. The work is to be 5 pages with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page. According to Kornbluh (2000), this has been regarded as an instance of a voting paradox that mostly revolves around the behavior of voters. In this regard, political scientists have continually researched the attitude of voters so as to understand the reasons as to why people from the United States practice a low voter turnout. Some of the factors associated with legal obstacles involve Voters ID laws, Poll taxes, and Paper trails.

Apparently, the history of elections in the United States has had two memorable events namely. the contentious 2000 presidential elections and the 2004 election. As a result of these events, the lawmakers have begun making reforms on election issues with consultation from other private entities such as the Help America Vote Act, which has compelled the state to be keener on the accessibility and bases of voters.

According to Keyssar (2009), individuals who support the Voters ID laws argue that in the modern world the most used form of identification is the ID, and as such voters are expected to present their identification once they are at the voting booth. Through this practice, cases of fraud and related irregularities are drastically reduced and/or eliminated. Furthermore, the supporters argue that Voter ID laws should not be taken negatively because the current century has identified as a routine in life.

On the other hand, Anti- Voter ID laws crusaders argue that the issue of personal identification could be used by interest groups to maintain the way of life for the middle and upper-class people in the United States. Nevertheless, people experiencing various disabilities with the inclusion of the minority, the poor, and the elderly might not be in a position to possess or use the identification particularly in the voting process.

what is being done to conserve biodiversity in madagascar.

Create a 7 pages page paper that discusses what is being done to conserve biodiversity in madagascar. This flora in terms of biological diversity is under serious danger in spite of its importance. “Over 80% of the island has already been stripped of its native vegetation cover. the majority of this area is now very species-poor secondary grassland which is burnt annually and is subject to intense erosion.” (Du Puy & Moat 1998).

Madagascar forests have been degraded in such a way that now only less than 10% of its original forest cover is remaining. The intention of this article is to bring awareness on conservation efforts of evergreen forests of the high plateau, littoral forest, and western dry deciduous forest. There are few forest recovery programs under conservation efforts in different forest types of Madagascar. These ecosystems urgently require toughened conservation programs due to their fragmented natural world. Forest fragmentation is causing a decrease in genetic diversity and is leading to an extinction path. The evergreen forest of high plateau is one of the high priority areas for plant conservation which is known as severely fragmented remnant forest. Recently, this forest was subjected to timber extraction which resulted in damage to its structure and integrity. Also, some fragments of this forest have been significantly burned.

In this forest, Madagascar’s most threatened, endangered species Schizolaena tampoketsana is found. Schizolaena tampoketsana, locally known as Sohisaka, belongs to one of the six endemic plant families. The reason behind endangered Sohisaka is the selective felling of trees and burning from wildfires which are common in this region annually.

Littoral forests are humid, low elevation forests on sand which have been identified as the most threatened vegetation type in Madagascar. It is along the east coast of Madagascar where the forests are highly degraded and fragmented that represents less than 10% of the original area. In this forest, Madagascar’s&nbsp.most threatened, endangered species Schizolaena tampoketsana is found.
