Discuss marketing plan report.

Create a 12 pages page paper that discusses marketing plan report. Using promotion aligned with psychographic traits related to the consumer behaviour, Five Guys can gain brand recognition and, ultimately, brand preference with its focus on integrated marketing communications and positioning on quality.

Five Guys Burger Restaurants is a casual, fast food restaurant headquartered in Fairfax, Virginia in the United States. The company maintains a menu that is focused on hamburgers, kosher hot dogs and a variety of different sandwiches. Between 2010 and 2011, the company experienced revenue growth of over 32 percent (York 2012). In the United States, Five Guys Burger is positioned as being a better burger, with a high level of emphasis on quality ingredients to differentiate the business from domestic American competition.

However, the U.S. marketplace, in terms of fast food restaurants, is highly saturated and it is difficult to achieve growth in a rapidly maturing market. As a result, Five Guys Burger Restaurants is seeking new market opportunities in foreign markets where there is less competitive saturation and where consumer characteristics are favourable for achieving market growth and building a positive brand reputation. This report identifies potential market opportunities in Kuwait, a developing nation, for Five Guys Burger to establish a potent competitive identity. The report provides justification for market entry in this country, an analysis of competitors in the region, the cultural profile for viable consumer segments in Kuwait, and an appropriate targeting strategy and positioning strategy to achieve the objectives of growth for the company. Additionally, the report provides appropriate recommendations, based on market conditions, for ensuring success in this new foreign investment.

Strengths and Weaknesses of Research Methods.

Complete 6 pages APA formatted article: Strengths and Weaknesses of Research Methods. The structured interviews involve a series of predetermined questions being asked and responses recorded without further probing of the interviewee. The unstructured interview involves a combination of pre-determined questions combined with random questions asked with the sole purpose of probing further in order to gather more in-depth information and gain more data in the process (Tracy, 2012, pg. 152).

These two main categories have been further subdivided into different types of interviews which range from telephone interview to the most common which is a face-to-face interview. Telephone interviews are carried out through the telephone. It is most common in cases where the respondent is far probably in another country or is too busy to grant a face to face interview. The face-to-face interview is where the interviewer and the participant face each other and the series of questions and answers exchanged (Stewart, Chadwick & Gill, 2008, pg. 292). The interview has several strengths and weaknesses depending on the type.

The main strength of the interviews is the ability to probe further depending on the response that has been provided. The probing questions are not pre-determined but lead to the collection of more detailed information leading to more knowledge about the topic of discussion. Interviews can be combined with other forms of research data collection tools to enable the researcher to collect more data with little effort. The other forms of tools include observation of the non-verbal cues when the interviewee is answering the questions as well as when asked a particularly sensitive question. The non-verbal cues will caution the interviewer on the issues to tread lightly so as not to annoy the interview which may cause premature termination of the interview, and will also lead to the interviewer marking the areas of the discussion that will need verification later on.

Interviews and especially the face-to-face interviews lead to high responses to the interview&nbsp.questions compared to other forms of data collection tools such as questionnaires. This is so because the interviewee faces the interviewer and hence has no way of avoiding to respond.

This study analyzes the effects that Dysthymic Disorder has on adolescents and children. More specifically, the study lays out the unique differences of symptoms exhibited by Dysthymia as compared to depression (for which it is often misdiagnosed). Furthermore, the study warns that because the symptoms are oftentimes less acute than traditional depression, dysthymia often goes undiagnosed in many children and adolescents.
