Impact of High Employee Turnover.

I will pay for the following article Impact of High Employee Turnover. The work is to be 7 pages with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page. When an employee leaves the organization, he along with him also takes the knowledge, company policies, and strategies along with him to the competitor. Moreover, selecting another candidate and aligning him to company culture adds another cost to the organization. Although the problem of employee retention has been in existence for a long time, the problem is getting grimmer and serious with time. In this context, it is important for companies to retain their employees. This has led to an increased interest in research in the area of Employee Retention. This paper does a literature review of the various research papers that have been published in this area.

The research focusing on reasons for the voluntary turnover by employees has mainly pointed out two categories of reasons: family (personal) reasons or professional reasons. Often, employees leaving the organization leave it because they do not find a fit between the organizational goals and their own goals. One of the propositions on why employees leave is based on the fact that employees are having a psychological contract with the organization where each has a set of expected outcomes from the other party. If an employee feels that the organization is not fulfilling its duty in terms of what it owes to the employee, he is more likely to quit the job (Vos and Megank, 2007). Job dissatisfaction among an employee may be the result of job stress, repetitive work, ambiguous role or excessive workload. Economic factors such as pay, rewards, bonuses&nbsp.and other benefits also play an important in influencing the job satisfaction of the employees. Besides, unfair rewards is another reason, an employee may leave an organization (Rashid et al.,2009). &nbsp. At the same time job alternatives available in the market also lead to employee turnover.&nbsp.

Discuss Being Black&Living in the Red.

Hi, need to submit a 1250 words paper on the topic Being Black&Living in the Red. Some decades ago, Conley ( 1999 ) illustrated his sentiments about the status of African Americans in a predominantly white society :

“African Americans may, in fact, be the most American of all, for by some socioeconomic indicators, they have made incredible progress since the passage of civil rights legislation. By other measures, however, they are not so “American”- that is for whatever reason, upward mobility has been more difficult “ ( p.9).

The former cultural assimilation paradigm proposed some decades ago established the concept that immigrants over time, assimilate into the dominant culture. However, American society today composed of “whites” would not be the dominant culture in the future. The National Research Council has projected that “by the year 2050, America’s Latino and Asian populations are expected to triple, constituting about 25% and 8% of the U.S. population, respectively (qt. from Lee and Bean, 2004, p.221). This would have implications on how the government as well as private organizations should revise programs that are biased towards the white population. The white would be a minority one day in the U.S.

Even the definition of non-white is quite offending as McDermott and Samson (2004) commented that “the inclusion of Arabs as white and Chinese as non-white seemingly reflect the idiosyncrasies of judges and the dominant political mood more than any other consistent pattern of identification” ( p.246). It was surprising to hear this classification since I am an Arab myself and never thought of myself as being “white”. Nevertheless, the color of the skin apparently predicts one chance in this white society. Does racial stratification really limit one chance? Indeed, as Conley exhaustively points out in chapter three of his book. In a study made by Conley in 1997 among blacks and whites completing a doctoral degree.

Childhood Emotional Abuse and Bipolar Disorder.

I need help creating a thesis and an outline on Childhood Emotional Abuse and Bipolar Disorder. Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide. An abstract is required. Moreover, there is a modulation effect that has been found between the traumatic events in childhood and bipolar disorder, in terms of the time of onset and a host of conditions that include simultaneous drug use, psychosis, and suicidal tendencies. On the other hand, while the literature strongly suggests that the occurrence of trauma in childhood may be linked to the disorders onset, expression, and eventual treatment outcome, past studies have been methodically hampered by such crucial factors as lacking control groups, small sample sizes, and variances in the tests of assessment, some resorting to interviews and others to questionnaires. To address these and other shortcomings, therefore, the article details the result of a study that had three aims: 1) a retrospective assessment of how prevalent and severe different childhood trauma subtypes are, in bipolar patients and in control groups. 2) to find out what, for different trauma subtypes, the “preferential implications” are relative to bipolar disorder. and 3) to find out what their “dose-effect” are (Etain, 2010).
