Discuss my religious institution

I need some assistance with these assignment. my religious institution Thank you in advance for the help!

Initially, it was affiliated to the Boulevard Baptist Church who also funded the first owned premises and building for the church. The church took its present name in 1967. During the first half of the 1970s, the church faced financial problems and there were even discussions of closing the church. But a pastor named John Vaughn agreed to build up membership again. He was able to increase its membership from forty-five to above hundred with a period of three years. He also became the chief pastor of the church.

Soon, it became impossible to accommodate all the members and some of them had to stand outside when attending mass and other functions. In 1978, a tragedy in the Vaughn family in the form of fire turned blessing for the church. The burns received by the couple’s daughter and the tremendous resilience shown by the family soon created a lot of public attention and sympathy. Membership increased to more than nine hundred within two years. In 1994 the congregation bought a two-acre tract of land and built a larger church that is now seen today.

The church now has approximately 1200 members. This paper answers six questions related to different areas of faith, belief, and administration and are answered one by one below. It is interesting to note that the US Constitution has rightly allowed religion to be free in the country. It means that no religious institution needs to be incorporated (or have a constitution) as a legal entity under the statute. Those who exercise the option can do so voluntarily even though this option has a certain legal implication that has both advantages and disadvantages.

This clause was included in the First Amendment of the US Constitution when Thomas Jefferson was president of the country and was based upon a sentence he wrote. The clause is referred to as the wall of separation. The first part of this beautifully worded sentence is given here to show the respect shown by law towards the church, believers, and god. “Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between man & his god, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship.

” (Jafferson 2007). The Faith Baptist Church has both articles of incorporation and a church constitution. The church became independent of the Boulevard Baptist Church and was incorporated in 1975.

Discuss pottery and occupation histories.

Write a 6 pages paper on pottery and occupation histories. Pottery may be studied through the use of x-ray diffraction, neutron activation analysis, or typical radiography (Renfrew and Bahn 54). These methods enable archaeologists to determine the composition and structure of the product. As a result, one may understand manufacturing and trade patterns related to the artifact, the firing and tempering techniques, intersections between pottery and other metal-based technologies, and conservation methods associated with the products.

From as far back as 4000 to 3000 BC, ancient Egyptians engaged in the production of pottery. An analysis of Egyptian pots enables one to determine Egyptian influence throughout ancient civilizations. In fact, predynastic pottery from Palestine has been examined and found to possess Nile Mud. It is thus possible to trace settlements and trade that may have occurred at this period in time.

Historians often classify Egyptian pottery into two categories. Nile silt ware and marl clay type. The former was used for utilitarian purposes and came from Nile clay. After firing these items, the product would become red-brown in color. Conversely, marl clay ware was from Upper Egypt and superior to the former. It has a somewhat shiny glaze and thus held greater value.

Ancient Greece is one of the most significant sources of early pottery. Owing to the durability and composition of the products, individuals were able to preserve them for thousands of years. Prior to the 1050BC, The Mycenaeans occupied Greece and caused a cultural collapse similar to the dark ages of Europe (Mee and Renard 83).&nbsp.

This pottery shows archaeologists that people had settled and were comfortable enough to make their own products. The fact that they decorated them with paintings also indicated that they had&nbsp.the tools and expertise needed to make those designs. At first, geometric pottery was relatively simple but its designs got more intricate after 900BC. Human figures showed up after this period in what historians now call orientalized pottery.

Discuss Analysis of Logged OBDII Data.

Hi, need to submit a 1500 words paper on the topic Analysis of Logged OBDII Data. The rest of the analysis follows the method of Holmén & Niemeier (1998) whereby the logged data is separated into events. Each event was determined to last for one linearised sample interval (1 second).

Events are separated firstly into the cruise, positive acceleration, and negative acceleration. A cruising event is defined as occurring when the vehicle is non-stationary and the acceleration is below a set threshold. This was set to 0.5 ms-2 which provided a good balance of cruise/acceleration events in the datasets considered.

Information on gear selection is not directly available via OBDII PIDs. It is possible however consider the ratio of vehicle speed to engine speed. There are however three potential unknowns required in addition to deriving the gear result. These are gear ratios, differential ratio (for rear-wheel drive), and tire radius. Even with a priori knowledge of a given car gearbox/differential, there is no way of deriving tire radius as these may be changed as aftermarket items. A more generic solution to determining gear ratio is thus preferential.

It is possible to use a cluster type analysis in order to derive the current gear. An analysis of the distribution of vehicle to engine speed ratio will yield peaks at each valid gear. There will be some noise associated with actions during clutch depression (e.g. revving, coasting) or wheel spinning caused by traction loss.

In order to establish gear positions a normalized distribution of vehicle to the engine, the speed ratio was calculated (200 bin histogram). Calculating the ratio this way avoids the divide by zero that occurs when the vehicle is stationary. A threshold was then used to effectively mask the random noise which is spread fairly across the distribution. Any value below this threshold is zeroed. Experimentally, a threshold value of 0.05 worked well for this purpose. The resulting maxima were then detected for a significant change in the first-order differential of the data.
