Complete the Theory Tables, your last portion should be submitted this week.Report the major figures that influence trait and biological theories, the key concepts that determine personality formation, and how they explain disordered personality.Only need the highlighted portion in the tableKey figures: who are the main theorists associated with the theory?Key concepts: what are the key components that make up the theory?Explanation of disordered personality: how is this theory used to explain the causes of a personality disorder?  What are some of parts used in the explanation?Scientific credibility: is this theory testable?  If yes, what are some of the ways that it is tested?  What are some of the tests used? If not, why is it not testable?Comprehensiveness: does this theory look at the whole person?  Does it address all parts of personality, or does it look at only various components?Applicability: how is this theory used in the world of psychology in a professional manner?  Think about different types of psychology that the theory might be used in, and talk about how (i.e. counseling, educational, I.O.).When providing information in the table, make sure to format it using APA guidelines, which includes having the same font size and type and using in-text citations.  Also, make sure to format your references using APA guidelines.

This assignment has just 1 Part. A Discussion alone

Unit 7:This assignment has just 1 part-A discussionDue 09/11/17Provide an operational definition of intelligence. What is the role of operational definitions within quantitative research? What are the strengths and weaknesses of operational definitions within psychology research?Due 09/11/17In some quantitative studies the terms “external validity” and “generalizability” are portrayed as synonymous. In contrast, Reichardt (2011) makes the claim that external validity and generalizability should be considered distinct concepts. What is external validity? What are the merits of distinguishing between external validity and generalizability of quantitative results?Resources1. research week 9

In order to make decisions about the value of any research study for practice, it is important to understand the general processes involved in analyzing research data. By now, you have examined enough research studies to be aware that there are some common ways that data are reported and summarized in research studies. For example, the sample is often described by numbers of participants and by certain characteristics of those participants that help us determine how representative the sample is of a population. The information about the sample is commonly reported in tables and graphs, making use of frequency distributions, measures of central tendency, and dispersion. Information about the variables (or concepts) of interest when quantified are also reported in similar manner.Although the actual data analysis takes place after data have been collected, from the initial planning of a research study, the researcher needs to have an awareness of the types of questions that can be answered by particular data analysis techniques. For this Discussion, review the case study entitled “Social Work Research: Measuring Group Success.” Consider the data analysis described in that case. Recall the information presented in the earlier chapters of your text about formulating research questions to inform a hypotheses or open-ended exploration of an issue.Post an explanation of the types of descriptive and/or inferential statistics you might use to analyze the data gathered in the case study. Also explain how the statistics you identify can guide you in evaluating the applicability of the study’s findings for your own practice as a social worker. Please use the resources to support your answer.Plummer, S.-B., Makris, S., & Brocksen S. M. (Eds.). (2014). Social work case studies: Foundation year.
