Write 6 pages with APA style on Realist Theory. The theory infers that the system is continually changing to create adjustments to nations such that new systems are created or older are being restored. Therefore, the balance of power theory involves a specific power distribution between states of a system such that no single nation has too much or less of the other . This paper analyses this context and provides a historic case outlay on the application of this theory, the implications of the test results for the case and identifies if the theory is applicable to the case (Marshall, 1970). Over the years, the term balance of power has been used in different areas of history, politics and science each bringing foreword a different meaning from the other. This is due to the difference in the meanings that are portrayed by various states on the term power. To some, power means the use of political force, the superiority of economy or diplomatic coercion to create a desirable outcome by a state. To others, power refers to the ability of a state to impose its will on another despite the resistance raised while others view this concept as the ability of a state to influence the behavior of one or more states through policy implementation (Stanley & Fidler, 1991). The paper seeks to compare and contrast two segments on balance of power relating to the classical and the modern era of political thought which forms the major variable. The balance of power theory is used to illustrate different cases with the major being the Persian Gulf War . Here, the U.S is unwilling to destroy and entirely dismember Iraq due to the balance of power concept which prevented the interruption of the powers of the Middle East. The two concepts raised in the theory is effective in understanding the conduct of international relations and preservation of the international nations system. My conclusion about the performance of the theory here is that it is effective in analyzing the case and that it gives a clear basis on relations amongst states. The theory has a great performance in the case as it infers the effectiveness of balancing power and how this theory is applied in solving international disputes. The theory independent variables relate to issues that constitute a state such as power, balance and sovereignty that enables a state to be independent while the dependent variables are the states and the relations based on the theories. Others may relate to the classical and modern views of politics which are harmonized by the realism concept. The link among the two variables are that they both belong with the realism school of thought. In the classical view, states are created to prevent war. It claims that the society despite the corruption shelters men from harm but only if it is established and enforced in law (Stanley & Fidler, 1991). A democratic government established though the power of the people are perceived to be legitimate . Based on this concept, the function of the government is to implement the laws formulated, promote patriotism through education and promote wealth distribution to enhance cohesion (Micheal, 2000). The classical concept maintains that the balance of power prevents nations from breaking apart . The balance ensures that no particular state or an alliance of nations is allowed by unwritten laws to obtain more power, such that it overwhelms the rest and that this balance is independent.

Hi, I am looking for someone to write an article on on balance, does the ‘rise’ of china present a greater opportunity or threat to australia’s national interests Paper must be at least 1000 words. Please, no plagiarized work! Australia believed in the notion that it needs to do its defense from the Asian countries. They have held this believe ever since the early years of the cold war between Australia and Asia. Although this believe of Australia has been revised in several aspects but still some countries are a potential threat to Australia. One of such countries is the rising super power China (Capling, pp. 601-622). This essay takes into account the aspects in which australia consider china as a threat. These factors may be military, social and economical sjakjs. Nations are concerned about the present power status of China. There is a vast difference between as nation which takes 300 years to develop and one that rises in 30 years. The nation that rises in a span of 30 years is the result of its effective strategy while the one that take 300 years to develop is merely dependent on luck. China can be considered a best example of rising strategy. Many scholars have been assessing the rising strategies of China for about 2 decades but still they haven’t reached on any conclusion regarding its power status. (White, 2013) The rise of China has made many nations think over different trade and defense issues of Asia Pacific. The ongoing strategic competition between America and China is visible to the whole world. Keeping the present conditions in mind the Australian strategists are not thinking over the regional conflict that they may face from China but are debating over the issue that how Australia must prepare itself for war. This explains that Australia views China as a present and potential trust for its defense and national interest. Australia is fully aware of the fact that China is an emerging super power. therefore it knows that unfriendly relations with China can be a major threat for its national security. The poor culture understanding between Australia and China has also increased the ideological distrust between the two rising nations. This has also negatively affected the economic relationship of China and Australia. The culture of both the regions differs from each other in several aspects. This must not be considered as an aspect of weak economical relations between the two countries. Australia must try to develop good cultural relationship with China, as it will foster good trade relations between the two countries and the trade between Australia and china can be profitable for both countries. (Capling, 2008) Other than this, Australia has many questions to address which may have various impacts on its future with China. There is an important question being discussed among the strategic mind of Australia based on its national interest and its defense policy. The questions that are the being discussed by Australian’s strategic mind revolves around its participation in the future war between America and China. Australia is also thinking over the fact that its defense system must be strong enough to face the China at any given time in future. Clearly one cannot deny the fact that the rise of China has been a threat for the military of Australia since World War II(Barker, 2011). The present Australian policy is not to appease or provoke China but to support and protect Australia and build its defense so that it can face any threat in unfavorable circumstances.

research paper on progressivism, bonus army and the civil rights movement. Needs to be 3 pages.

Need an research paper on progressivism, bonus army and the civil rights movement. Needs to be 3 pages. Please no plagiarism. With its reform agenda, the progressivism movement was aimed at achieving efficiency in all areas of society as a response to changes made by modernization. It was determined to be aimed at addressing ideas, impulses, and major issues stemming from modernized changes in the American society. Its ideologies centered on democracy, proper municipal administration, elimination of governmental corruption, proper education for everyone, and many others. Under the theme of democracy, there was also instigation of the women suffrage movement and elimination of corruption by black voters (Roark et al. 234-235). In the municipal administration, there was creation of proper laws and legislation to govern cities as well as the creation of a bureaucratic administration system leading to the creation of a democratic municipal administration. To the progressives, corruption was a source of inefficiency and waste leading to formation of laws to curb it. The progressives also worked hard to improve and expand public and private education in America at all levels (Roark et al. 465). For a very long time now, America has been operating efficiently in several sectors of the economy as well as government as a result of this movement. The bonus army was a protest that was launched by the World War I veterans 1932 demanding payment of their bonuses after the congress had voted to give them these bonuses for their services in the war in 1924. However, even though they asked for these bonuses to be released to them in 1932, they were meant to be released in 1945 (McPherson 134). They marched into Washington D.C. to demand for immediate release of their bonuses. When the senate went to vote for the bill requiring the veterans to be paid their bonuses, it turned out that the outcome was not successful as the senate defeated the bill by 62 to 18 votes. This showed that the veterans were not going to be paid their bonuses. The veterans were dispatched by the state police where two of their members were shot dead and later the intervention of the army which led to most of them being seriously injured (O’Brien 78). In a nutshell, this protest did not yield any fruits for the propagators. On the other hand, looking into the American Civil Rights Movement, almost a similar situation comes out but with slight success realized. It was a movement that relied on biblical connotations to fight racial segregation. This was under the leadership of Martin Luther King Junior who was a black clergyman. This was a movement that was instigated after the slavery period had ended and sought to end the massive discriminatory practices that had been instigated against the black people for a very long time. Most of the propagators were jailed and some killed in the quest for a society that is deeply rooted in equality. As a result of these struggles, laws were enacted propagating equality for all Americans. However, this was only in theory but practically, many black Americans have suffered discrimination for a continued period of time (Roark et al. 562).
