I need help creating a thesis and an outline on Hesiods Theogony. Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide. An abstract is required. Hesiods ‘theogony’ is a large-scale synthesis of a vast variety of local greek traditions concerning the gods, organized as a narrative that tells how they came to be and how they established permanent control over the cosmos. It is the first Greek mythical cosmogony (Hesiods Theogony, not dated). In my personal view, Hesiod’s theogony manifests the order of the universe according to power and authority between gods and humans. In Greek mythical cosmogony, the origin of the world was chaos, but this state of creation was indefinite. After the second and third generation that was actually the final, gods still made sure that they maintained the power. We can, therefore, conclude that the cosmogony, as well as the theogony, is a representation of the universality of the world. These are representations of the realistic order of the world. According to mythology, the universe has gone several states from generation to generation and yet humans are still considered part of creation that only serve the balance and harmony of creation. We have no authority or power that could surpass the power of the gods.

As a whole, humans are the center of balance and harmony in the real world. Human beings have the authority to reestablish the earth or destroy their harmonious existence. This is true even in modern time. The reality of human existence and its role in the universe is made the cosmogony and theogony have theorized. Gods are just myths, but human existence in this world plays a vital role in the orderly state of the universe.

Compose a 5750 words assignment on regional development and governance: localised aid and intervention to what extend does decentralisation provide a solution t. Needs to be plagiarism free! Yet, when one looks closely at the overall concept of Decentralization, it is found to be associated with several shades, in terms of different components like deconcentration, delegation of power and devolution, and that this process is firmly rooted in our country’s historical and cultural background. For example, good governance was preceded by decentralization. such that during the colonial rule both the French and British administrations were associated with elements of decentralization (the French administration operated through the prefectorial system and the British through urban municipalities and districts) but this lacked the very essence of good governance by being neither democratic, nor inclusive nor participatory. Historically, the Western countries which made the transition to a democratic set-up, enjoyed a diversified social structure, a certain level of tolerance for diversity in the national culture, a continuously expanding middle class, accompanied by relative economic prosperity. Thus, the entire gamut of essential attributes which form the basis for good governance, such as, transparency, accountability, participation, inclusion, responsiveness and the rule of law slowly got nurtured. Describing Decentralization Despite the existence of qualifications and explanations in large numbers, the case presented does not convincingly comply with how decentralization has actually been described.

Some may come together purposely, but there are others that come together unintentionally yet still the same benefits as those that are planned. Furthermore, not all communities are communities of practice, such as a neighborhood, which is also called a community.

There are three very important characteristics that truly define a community of practice. The first characteristic is the domain. The identity of a community of practice is the shared domain of interest. As a member of the domain, an individual implies a commitment to the domain, showing a competence that helps to set members apart from other people. A domain is not always considered to have expertise outside of the domain. An example of this would be a street gang. They survive and learn from each other, but people outside of the group are unlikely to consider them to have expertise in what they do.

The second characteristic is the community. What makes a community is that the people in the group are learning together and helping each other. Simply being part of a group that shares the same interest does not constitute a community. Members of a community of practice engage in activities and discussions together, using different methods to share with each other their knowledge of how to better or move forward with their passion. As per example, the Impressionists would meet in cafes and studios to discuss the style of painting that they were inventing together.

The third defining characteristic is practice. The practice is something that is physically undergone, and not necessarily a hobby. The people of the community use their practice – art, teaching, engineering, et cetera – to bring to their community experiences, stories,&nbsp.tools, and ways of addressing issues that continue to arise. Interaction is a vital part of a community.

This has resultantly called for the reassessment of the rules and institutions governing healthy policy and practice at various levels, including subnational level, national level, regional level and global level. This has been so due to a number of factors, which despite the fact that they are outsider the health sector brackets, they are progressively affecting health. Some of these factors include such as collective violence, trade and investment flows, conflict, criminal activity, communication technologies and environmental change (WHO 2010, p.1). This thus necessitates for the broadening of the agenda of public health to include the aforementioned global forces and at the same time see to it that human health is promoted and protected. It is however broadly believed that the international health governance system is not sufficiently meeting these needs and besides, this current system is characterised by a number of gaps and shortcomings. As a result of these perceived shortcomings, the concept of global health governance has become a key interest area of debate in the field of international health.
