Adams (1965) argues that employees like six major aspect to improve their performance. First is achievement. This implies that workers are motivated when tangible goals are derived from their efforts. Secondly, employees like to be appreciated and recognized by their managers and other workers. Thirdly, employees are motivated by the work itself. For example, employees who enjoy working in garages will be more motivated if the GM managers take them to the production facility. Fourthly, workers are motivated when their responsibilities are increased. Fifthly, labor force is significantly motivated through promotion and advancement within their firm. In the same way, workers performance is enhanced when a company creates opportunities for growth. This can be undertaken by ensuring that workers are given ample opportunities to undertake part time courses either within the firm or from high institutions of learning.

Human communication comes with components such as facial expressions, gestures, verbalism and mood. Advertisements have two major components and these are visuals and text. In promoting value system through advertisement, it is important that all these two major components of the advertisement portray value. Visuals There are visuals in most forms of advertisements such as newspaper advertisement, internet blog advertisement, billboard, signposts, signboards, brochures and so on. Action they say speaks louder than words but in advertisement, picture says a thousand. Indeed, advertisers are expected to use visuals to depict high sense of value. This can be achieved basically by refusing to use offensive images. Images are said to be offensive if they abuse the visual judgment and appeal of onlookers. Text or audio appear in all forms of advertisement including newspapers, television, radio, internet and signs. What is said through text in adverts is very important in portraying the value and ethics of a company. Recently, there has been a public outcry of how some advertisements are used to deceive the public because the try content of products they carry are not as the advertisements portray. Apart from the fact that this practice has legal implications, it also goes a long way to tell of the kind of values shared by the companies. A company that respects its customers will certainly not try to deceive them. The use of text or audio to depict acts that does not show value for customers could vary from very serious legal offenses to lying about the distance of the location of a company from a particular spot. But whatever the case is, no offense should be too little to ignore. Impact of value system on consumer purchase The creation of value through advertisements should never be overlooked by advertisers and marketers. This is because consumer fidelity has a lot of impact in determining the decisions consumers make. Clearly if a consumer cannot trust a company to be faithful through what they portray in their advertisements or consumers cannot trust companies to have value for value, chances are that consumers cannot trust such companies to produce wholesome or risk free products. For this reason, consumers would desist from making purchases from such companies. Again, a company that cannot be trusted though its advertisement can hardly be trusted to give customers value for money and so customers will avoid such companies. Coffee today is one of the most popular beverages in the world. The coffee beans are grinded to form a powder from which the beverage is prepared. It is one of the most popular beverages consumed by more than one third of the world’s total population. One major difference found in its consumption is in the way the drink is consumed around the world. (Kolecki, n.d). People, in general, prefer to consume coffee according to their taste and liking. This includes adding items like milk, creamer, and sugar to the actual coffee to create a particular individualized taste. Therefore, part of the attraction of coffee as a drink is the fact that one can personalize the drink to one’s individual liking. Coffee’s popularity has resulted in a wide demand and increased production throughout the world. The raw materials for coffee are obtained from a fruit’s seed, which is known as the coffee bean. (As You Sow, 2010). These beans are collected from the coffee trees that contain aromatic substances which add up to the taste of the beverage. When the berries are ripened, the beans provide a better taste for the beverage. The coffee trees themselves grow well in a climate of moderate temperature. Apart from the conditions of the climate, the soil too plays a vital role in cultivating the coffee beans. Fertile soil enables better cultivation and production of the coffee beans. A well maintained volcanic soil also helps in the cultivation, as it improves the flavor of the beans. The manufacturing process of coffee does not end up impacting the environment as severely as the manufacturing of other beverages. (Wintgens, 2009). The environmental consequence is certainly varied as the tree is grown in places where the natural soil is at its best. The cultivation does not include any artificial plantation or pesticides and hence it does not create chemical harm to the environment. Another aspect is the social consequences of the object, coffee. Due to the increased production of coffee beans, countries like Brazil and Africa have extensively benefited. Since the country’s economic stability grows through the plantation of coffee beans, the social consequence is obviously beneficial (Wintgens, 2009). However, this does not mean that there are not any environmental consequences within the production of coffee. The actual use of the land to produce coffee is cause for some concern. Coffee is a cash crop, meaning that land is often cleared to grow it, and this can take away from even more sustainable resources. Some type of monitoring program can be implemented to ensure that other resources are not being stripped, or at least stripped beyond their capacity to reproduce themselves. Where the rainforest is involved, this has caused growing concern for many environmentalists, since much of the time the rainforest will be destroyed if profit is involved, and the rainforest is not something humans can recreate. Since many of the countries producing coffee are economically poor, they are willing to destroy natural resources in order to take advantage of greater economical gain (Wintgens, 2009). Coffee production can be made more sustainable through the monitoring of the land used in its development.
