Your assignment is to prepare and submit a paper on the new ethics of journalism. The journalist is responsible for what they convey to the people they must be allowed not to cover a story they find unethical or distasteful. (Thesis)

It is noticeable that most of the news content in the media is not suitable for all viewers and is malicious. Violence, abuse, and vulgarity have become a common scene of news channels. As a journalist, people come across many kinds of situation in their professional life. But at times their morality and ethics would not allow them to cover such news. So they should be allowed not to cover such instances. This is about freedom in work as the journalist must have the right to work in his manner in his space. As a professional, they completely understand what is instances has the potentiality for news coverage.

The journalist while doing his job also is doing a humanizing process. Journalist brings news from around the world to us. But sometimes journalists may be forced to cover instances and events which go against the ethics like murdering situations, sexually exploiting instance, and inhumane behaviors. The journalist might be unwilling to cover such situations but may be intimidated by the news channels to report it. Such conditions must not exist as it may be an invasion in their professional conduct. A journalist can be comfortable if he is allowed to do his work in alliance with his ethical and moral perspective. They need to be given the freedom to choose what they opt to cover or omit.

Journalists are professional people and they have a code of ethics on which they work. The journalist is always under pressure from various sources which would make them work with much less freedom. News media is also a sort of business and sometimes they are forced to cover matter which can be often unethical or distasteful to the journalist. The media channel may want to promote a particular event that may give benefits to them. A journalist should be fair and courageous in covering news and should be given choice to cover or not to cover a story. If they are allowed not to cover unethical and distasteful things then they feel content about their profession.

prepare and submit a paper on presidential powers.

Your assignment is to prepare and submit a paper on presidential powers. Presidential Powers Presidential Powers Even though America is a democratic country, the functioning of its administrative system is somewhat different from that in other democratic countries. For example, in India, prime minister and his cabinet ministers are responsible for implementing public policies whereas in America, president holds supreme power in implementing various public policies. President of America is the head of the state as well as the head of the government whereas in India, president is the head of the state whereas the prime minister is the head of the government. Being the head of the state and head of the government, American president enjoys a variety of powers in internal as well as external matters. Article II of the American Constitution, grants numerous powers to President of America. The power of president can be divided into two broad categories. one with respect to Domestic affairs and the other with respect to Foreign policy. This paper analyses the power of American president in through various perspectives. Type of powers of President of America “Article II of the Constitution vests the powers of the executive branch in the President of the United States and details the powers of that office”(Presidential powers, 2007). In other words, executive power is vested up on the president of America. All the governmental agencies are working under the president and these agencies taking instructions from the president. For example, president is the commander in chief of the armed forces in America and these forces function based on the instructions of the president. For example, war on terror in Iraq and Afghanistan started by American forces based on President’s instruction. It should be noted that apart from various administrative matters, president is responsible for preparing budgets in America. Power related to legislature is another type of power enjoyed by the president of America. “Established by Article I of the Constitution, the Legislative Branch consists of the House of Representatives and the Senate, which together form the United States Congress” (The Legislative Branch, 2012). The laws are passed by the legislative body after long discussions. Once the laws are passed by the legislative body, it is the duty of the president to make sure that the passed laws were implemented properly. For example, the huge bailout package for assisting private and public organizations in America was passed by the Congress and implemented by the President Obama. President of America is responsible for appointing federal officials like judges, ambassadors, members of cabinet etc. However, president requires the approval of senate for such appointments. For example, at the time of retirement of a judge from the federal courts, president of America is responsible for appointing a new judge. However, such appointments require ratification from the senate. Apart from appointing new officials, president has the power to remove any governmental officials. Suppose the American ambassador in a particular country is not functioning well. President has the authority to remove him and appoint a new person in that place. The implementation of public policies is another duty of the president. For example, Obama has recently introduced a healthcare plan to “Cover all Americans with health insurance by requiring employers to provide health insurance to their employees. This healthcare plan also made child health insurance mandatory in America” (Obama’s Health Care Plan Summarized, 2009). Enforcement of equal pay for women is another public policy implemented by president Obama recently. Earlier, discrimination in wages with respect to gender was evident in American private employment sector. If the president is accused of any wrongdoing, Congress has the authority to correct him. However, congress cannot interfere directly into such matters. “Congress may vest its power to appoint a special prosecutor in the federal courts, and the court may then appoint a special prosecutor to investigate the charges made against the President” (Presidential powers, 2007). In other words, Congress does not enjoy the power to correct the mistakes of President directly. However, it can seek the assistance of judiciary to correct the president. The duty of judiciary is to interpret the laws and policies based on the constitution. So, courts have the responsibility to prevent presidents from working against the norms of the constitution. It should be noted that in many other democratic countries, judiciary and executive often clash each other. however, in America, such incidents are extremely rare. Presidential powers are determined by the constitution of America. On the other hand, public policies are determined by the president in consultation with the congress periodically. In other words, the power of the president remains the same unless the constitution makes any amendments whereas the public polices can be changed as per the likings of the president. Conclusions American president has executive power, power related to appointments, legislatures, public policies etc. He is responsible for taking decisions with respect to internal as well as external matters. However, he has to take the approval of the Congress before implementing any polices. References Obama’s Health Care Plan Summarized, (2009). write an article on Interpret on Decomposition Analysis. It needs to be at least 750 words.

Hello, I am looking for someone to write an article on Interpret on Decomposition Analysis. It needs to be at least 750 words. The relationship between return on assets and return on equity is that return of assets shows how profitable a company is before they consider giving advantage to investments, hence two thirds of the DuPont equation of measuring return of quality is comprised up of return on assets. (Peppers, 2005, pp 124) Net Income ROA = Value of assets Return on assets and return on help in calculating the rate of growth of a company. The value of return on assets helps in calculating the internal growth rate of a company. Internal growth rate is the maximum rate of growth that a company can achieve without getting help from external financing. It therefore tells how independent a company is. The value of the return on equity helps in determining the sustainable growth rate of a company. this is the maximum attainable income of a company with the inclusion of assets and investments. This gives the potential of the company with the exploitation of all avenues of income generation. Capital intensity is the current status of funds available in the company with the consideration of other factors in the company such as labor and other forms of production. Companies that use heavy machinery and have many laborers do work that is more effective. hence, an increase in the capital intensity increases the labor productivity. Companies that use so much initial investment always get lower return on assets than those, which use less initial investment funds. however, increased productivity makes the company have a greater growth rate. Quantitatively, capital intensity is the ratio of total value of capital equipment to the total potential output of the company. (Masterman, 2007, pp 47). The world’s leading car-manufacturing company, Toyota, use the JIT production method. The JIT production method involves, the processes of waste elimination participative culture of work, and, continuous improvement of quality of production hence by using this system, Toyota reduce the need for raw materials, this in many ways increase the returns on quality of the company because less money is used in the production expenses of the company. This also minimizes wastes hence more economical in that the company does not spend on ways of ways of waste disposal. The Kanban system is the control unit of the JIT it implements everything that happens in the system. This helps in making sure that there are no any early or late productions in the company. The efficient method of production that Toyota uses makes it the largest vehicle producing company in the world. Though there has been a falling trend in the sales of the vehicles, this is mainly due to external causes in the market, the sales mainly fell in the country, and the drop in production was by 11.7%. Outside Japan, the sales improved and went up by 6.2%. The policy of minimum wastage and efficient production ensures that the production and sales remain high. The return on quality remains high (Tracey, 2008, pp 54). Honda is a Japan based motor p[production company. recently Honda made their all time biggest production quantity of all time.
