This has been possible by brain mapping, a useful tool to gain an understanding of the functional, genetic, and various other molecular aspects of the brain. Advances in brain mapping have contributed to the understanding of several psychological, surgical, and anatomical problems in the brain, thus providing clues for improved management and prediction of treatment outcomes. Brain mapping has been possible through advances in neuroimaging and also automation. Functional magnetic resonance imaging, recent technology in magnetic resonance imaging has been an immense tool in understanding the functional areas of the brain. For example, researchers are now able to see which brain areas are altered during the performance of certain movements. Based on such information, it has been possible to divide the brain functionally and also understand how different areas of the brain work in conjunction during day-to-day activities (Jones and Overly, 2010). In this essay, brain mapping, methods used for brain mapping, and the benefits of brain mapping will be discussed.

Brain mapping may be defined as a set of techniques related to neuroscience that map the biological properties and quantities onto spatial representations of the brain of the concerned mammal resulting in maps that are easily visualized and understood. Any technology in neuroimaging is actually a part of brain mapping, although brain mapping is considered to be a higher form of neuroimaging that produces brain images supplemented by additional non-imaging or imaging data analysis, processing or both, like projecting of maps into the analysis of behavior with respect to regions in the brain.&nbsp. It is very important to understand the biological basis of diseases so that appropriate treatment can be based on that. In many diseases, genes have been attributed to the molecular basis of disease because they are the main instruction providers for the cellular molecular machinery. In fact, several genes have been identified for one single disease like&nbsp. 600 for multiple sclerosis (Jones and Overly, 2010).

I need help creating a thesis and an outline on Accounting as the Systematic Recording. Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide. An abstract is required. Accounting provides financial information to users of such information and auditing serves as a means to ensure such information is reliable and in line with the established rules and regulations (Clarke 18-22). Nevertheless, the above two concepts can interrelate at-times, regardless of their distinct difference.

In my interview with a number of professionals in this career, I came to realize that, as much as accountants do need to have a solid skill in math, the job demands a combination of analysis, problem solving and detective work. Additionally, to be able to do the job perfectly, one must be able to communicate effectively and handle not only numbers but also people.

The research methods used to draw this report were majorly interviews with professionals from this career and books and articles written about accounting career. Additionally, information available in the internet also helped a great deal. I managed to interview Carl Lewin, a management accountant in Price Waterhouse Coopers, Mrs. Clarke Smith, a government accountant in the federal government, Mark Bartz, a management accountant with Samsung, Deborah Volkman, an accountant career adviser, Shauna Bryce, the chief finance officer with Waste Management Incorporation, and Dr. Bruce, internal auditor, Sony Music Company. The interaction was quite appealing as I had the chance to know their say about the career and most interestingly, what they like most about their job and what exactly drew them to this neglected career path.

An accountant helps in making important decisions in all businesses. Accountants prepare, analyze and validate financial reports that determine whether managers would make certain decisions or not (Career Explorer 1). This was supported by my interview with Shauna Bryce, who acknowledged that an accountant’s role is to prepare, analyze and validate financial information.”

According to Alba et al. (25), there are&nbsp.four major fields in accounting, namely. public, management and government accounting and internal auditors. Management accountants work for companies as part of the team, providing the executives with the information needed in decision-making.

This is evident through the way men treat their women in the book. Most of them are unfaithful and engages in extramarital affairs (Holloway 50). Some men are also involved in rape cases in society. Similarly, men in Mali are lazy and do not work to help and provide for their families. They leave their women to do all the domestic activities as they sit and lazy. Although they are given all the power to control women and society, there has no impact on the community but instead, women play significant roles. This is replicated in other areas such as India and Brazil (Nanda 45: Scheper-Hughes 325). On the other hand, women in Mali are industrious and laborers. The author portrayed them as people taking care of the welfare of society despite the limited powers and resources they have, do not have the power of choosing for themselves but instead their husband decides for them. They also struggle to ensure their unborn children get better health by walking long distances searching for midwives. Similarly, they live in a deplorable environment but stays put for the wellbeing of their children as Lee (33) found out.

There are many forms of gender stratification and norms in the book. one example is that no divorce is allowed in society (Holloway 58). This society does not allow divorce because women do not have custodial rights over their children. Women are forced to stay in an abusive relationship and sometimes tend to engage in other activities to counter the pain and abuses they undergo in the course of their relationship. Miniakan cultural taboos are very strict on women, and they must accept their men once married and the trend or marriage has no reversal. This societal norm also pushes Monique to find comfort with Pascal, whom she loves besides knowing the societal consequences when found. In other instances, women are not allowed to keep their children because of their societal status.
