Scenario

As a manager on a medical surgical unit, part of the job responsibility includes chart audits.

A trend noted during the most recent audit was the overuse of the term “dementia.” The nurse manager notes that there may be a lack of understanding between the types dementia as related to neurological diseases.

The nurse manager developed a survey to evaluate the staff’s understanding of the different types of dementia. As a result of the survey, you have been asked to create a PowerPoint presentation to increase the nurse’s awareness of the types of dementia a presentation was created.

Instructions

Choose one of the following topics for a focused presentation:

    • Alzheimer’s
    • Parkinson’s
    • Vascular Dementia

The presentation should include the following:

    • Pathophysiology
    • Etiology & incidence
    • Health promotion and maintenance
    • History/Risk factors
    • Physical signs and symptoms
    • Changes in cognition
    • Changes in behavior & personality
    • Changes in self-management skills
    • Diagnostics: laboratory and imaging assessment
    • Planning and implementation
    • Interprofessional Collaborative Care
    • Psychosocial integrity
    • Medications
    • Safety considerations

Using Ignatavicius and one additional resource, develop a presentation to enhance the nurses’ knowledge of the differences between types of dementia and delirium. Be sure to document your source(s) in your presentation.

submit a 2250 words paper on the topic The Influence of Gender Roles on Body Image Satisfaction.

Hi, need to submit a 2250 words paper on the topic The Influence of Gender Roles on Body Image Satisfaction.

Men always perceive themselves to be a bit more muscular than their real body sizes. They argued that if men were asked to choose the bodies that they would like to have, they would choose a body with more muscles and less fat levels than their actual bodies. This variation between the body ideal and the body reality of men is also found in other studies. As noted in this study, the striking difference between the actual and desired muscularity of men may reflect media and societal pressures on current men to have a more muscular body.

Men if asked they can choose a body that has a perceived woman’s idea. Again, this study is similar to other studies that suggested that men think that women want them to have more muscular bodies. This study also gives an argument that modern men must achieve a muscular and unrealistically lean body due to modern societal pressures. In general, the findings of this study highly support the notion of early researches that there is a large difference between body ideal and body reality in contemporary young men.

The authors also outline the relationship between body image, eating disturbances, and depression. They argue that body satisfaction is highly associated with eating disorders, depression, and self-esteem. Although the literature about the image of the body in men remains limited, the authors of this research have tried to show how societal and media pressures are currently influencing male body image satisfaction. The finding in their article suggests that modern men show substantial body dissatisfaction.

This dissatisfaction is nearly associated with gender roles, depression, eating disorders, and low esteem. Contemporary men are laboring under the influence of media and societal pressures. The article concludes by recommending that support and outreach organizations should become more aware of the concerns of body image in males and the psychopathology that accompanies these body image concerns.

Need an research paper on user access verification and security. Needs to be 5 pages. Please no plagiarism. OSPF was used as the dynamic routing protocol on the routers. OSPF best fits the scenario because it was assumed that not all routers are Cisco. OSPF has the capability for route redistribution, which is a translation service between routing protocols using the Dijkstra algorithm. OSPF converges quickly and supports multiple equal-cost routes to the same destination (Parkhurst 444).

OSPF routing algorithm was used to enable communication to remote networks. OSPF enables fast convergence in large networks and a default static route was configured on the London HQ router. The reason behind using OSPF is that it can support variable-length subnet masks (VLSM) and non-contiguous subnets and therefore can meet all the demands of the organization.

The table below shows a detailed addressing scheme, including network addresses, their relevant subnet masks, and IP addresses for each PC as specified in the design topology diagram. The sub-netting is based on the number of hosts available in London (HQ), Paris, and Rome.

The interfaces have their IP addresses configured, OSPF routing algorithm was used to enable communication to remote networks. OSPF enables fast convergence in large networks and a default static route was configured on the London HQ router (Tiso&nbsp.441).

Write a 5 pages paper on mangrove. Individual mangroves species vary in the duration of time their propagules remain viable, their establishment achievement, their augmentation rate, and their tolerance limits. These factors, which appear moderately reliable around the world, combine to produce characteristics distributional ranges for most species.

Individual mangroves species vary in the duration of time their propagules remain viable, their establishment achievement, their augmentation rate, and their tolerance limits. These factors, which appear moderately reliable around the world, combine to produce characteristics distributional ranges for most species.

Mangroves grow mostly along the eastern coastlines of the Americas and Africa than along the cooler western coastlines. They prefer areas with humid climate and freshwater inflow that brings in abundant nutrients and silt. Mangroves grow luxuriantly in alluvial soils. They are abundant in broad, sheltered, low-lying coastal plains where topographic gradients are small and tidal amplitudes are large. In common cases flooded but well-drained soils support good mangrove growth and high species diversity. Mangroves do not grow well in the stagnant water.

There exist about 90 species of mangroves that are recognized in the world that belong to some 20 plant families. Around the tropics of Australia, 37 types from 15 plant families occur, approximately 40 percent of the entire number of mangrove types found all over the world. Mangrove families include Avicenniaceae, Meliaceae, Rhizophoraceae, and Sonneratiaceae. The most prolific species include the Grey Mangrove and the Red Mangrove.

Each mangrove type is definite by its forbearance to salt and temperature strain. Moving upstream in a mangrove woodland, species location becomes conspicuous. Species such as the Grey and Red Mangroves control the downstream segment of the mangrove woodland, where flood occurs daily, while some of the black, orange, and yellow mangroves grow in the upstream segment where a flood of seawater doesn’t occur as recurrently. The milky mangrove expels a white sap on breaking the stem or leaves which is irritating and poisonous on contact. Mangrove varieties are often zoned corresponding to the seashore. The region where each type occurs is determined by tide levels and soil situation. The River Mangrove usually occurs in the Fringing Zone, near to the mean sea level mark.
