Secondly, by making the English language the official one, the immigrant student and workforce in the country would benefit immensely, since it would help them bond well with the locals and help them adapt to the conditions in the foreign land in a better manner. Thirdly, the pronunciation of English as the official language would help business units like Geno’s, since they could then not worry about misinterpretation or miscommunication, and could pep up their advertising and marketing strategies. Instead, if English becomes the only language to be used, it would then become very discriminatory and difficult for all and sundry, paving way for chaos, favoritism, inequality, and miscommunication.
