Hi, need to submit a 2250 words paper on the topic Has the growth of the internet created more risk in terms of criminal activities.

Having these much people in the internet is a major factor that offers a platform for criminal activities taking place in the internet. It is important to analyze whether the growth of the internet has brought in more risks with regard to activities deemed criminal over the internet.

Cybercrime is a concept that has grown vastly over time. A major way to determine this is the number of pending court cases with issues revolving around cybercrime. Many young children have an internet connection in their homes.

This is what has led to increased cybercrime. Over time, people have always shown interest in young innocent kids. This had led them to preying on them where they attempt to extort the children the least said.

Many sexual predators pose as innocent and probably age appropriate people on the internet nowadays. However, these people are very old and are out there to commit several crimes on these children. Some of these people operate to an extent of setting up meetings with these children pretending to be age-mates.

When they meet with these children, they have the audacity to kidnap them. Many are the times that they get to inflict physical harm on these innocent kids.

There are many variables that are applied in this case. One of the variables that are employed in this case involves the approach that involves uses and gratifications. The uses and gratifications approach defines the topic of study and relates personality to internet choice and usage very elaborately. It clearly states that the day to day requirements of an average human being are usually able to relate with the individual or communal characteristics.

Another factor that can be found to explain the question is by the use of the five-factor personality model. It is known that character is a factor that can be used to portray certain hidden or undiscovered needs in a person.

During the first month, much of the cost went into product development and requirement and needs survey. The second month saw costs distributed to product development, trial and logistics. The sixth month had most of the costs going into compliance (food, drug and administration approval, product planning, protection and ramp up). Write a 6 pages paper on the threat of obsessive-compulsive disorder. Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is classified currently on its own, and it features an individual’s preoccupation with obsessive thoughts and the display of compulsive behaviors triggered by anxiety-provoking stimuli. DSM-V outlines the following criteria for the classification of OCD.

During the Dark Ages, when religion predominantly governed all facets of human existence, individuals suffering from obsessive thoughts just like those afflicted with blasphemous or sexual thoughts were believed to be possessed by evil spirits. Consequentially, the prescribed treatment entailed exorcising the evil spirits. Religion offered no factual justification for its diagnosis and treatment of OCD. therefore, the probability of recovery among those afflicted with the disorder was slim to none.

Scientific advancements during the Enlightenment era offered a different perspective on the causes, diagnosis, and possible treatment of OCD. Early physicians attributed the disorder to an imbalance in the body’s senses of humor. According to them, restoring balance to the senses of humor was achievable through bloodletting. These physicians distinguished between different types of compulsions and obsessions. for example, compulsive washing, checking, and sexual obsessions among others.

In the early 1900s, scholars discovered a psychological component to the disorder. Psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud posited that obsessive-compulsive thoughts were manifestations of unconscious conflicts. Freud hypothesized that external prohibitions toward specific actions such as touching failed to abolish one’s desires to pursue those actions, as they resulted in repression. According to him, repressed feelings and thoughts persisting in an individual’s unconsciousness eventually re-surfaced manifesting themselves through peculiar behaviors.

Building on advancements made by early scholars, contemporary scholars continue to use highly advanced technology.&nbsp.for example, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans to identify abnormalities in the brain structure that might predispose the development of OCD.

Need help with my writing homework on My Visiting Las Vegas. Write a 1250 word paper answering; &nbsp. When you visit Hoover Dam, it’s really hard not to be overcome by the amount of work that had to have gone into building the structure. It sweeps up out of the canyon to such a height that it makes people at the bottom difficult to pick out among the other spots of darkness down there. It’s so graceful and smooth, you almost feel like it would be fun to slide down the side, even though it would be suicide to do so. Lake Mead is on the other side of the dam, providing a sparkling contrast to the thin strip of a river you see flowing away on the first side. The mountainsides on either side of the dam show white water marks where the lake levels used to be before so many people moved in and started making more demands on the water supply, which really makes you start to think about what can be done to conserve more water. It’s also kind of interesting to stand in the middle of the dam, where you can have one foot in Nevada and one foot in Arizona while you’re standing about 700 feet above the ground and in the middle of the Colorado River. The tour of the dam is interesting, too, because you’re allowed to walk around inside the dam and see what makes it work to help generate power. Some places on the wall seem a little damp as you walk through, which makes you think even more about the almost 100 men who died while building the dam and what would happen if the concrete walls just decided to stop holding together all of a sudden.

After touring the inside of the dam, it was a relief to get back out into open air and away from the center of the river in order to take an air tour of the area. The views of the Grand Canyon were especially amazing, thinking about how the river that had been contained by the dam had also carved out these amazing shapes through sheer rock to such an&nbsp.incredible depth.&nbsp.
