Health Care Career Paper

My career is Physical Therapist Assistant

Topic

The purpose of this paper is for students to research, learn and write about specific elements of a health care worker’s career. Students are recommended to choose the health care worker in the field they are planning to enter. Plagiarism

The health care career paper is to be the student’s original work. Plagiarism is the improper borrowing of another person’s words, ideas, or methods. If you use another person’s material, you must acknowledge your source. When you cite a source properly, you have given credit where it is due, and you have also given your readers a way to locate the original material on their own. But, there is more than that to plagiarism. Copying material directly without placing it between quotation marks, even if you provide the source, is an act of plagiarism.

Provide a 5 pages analysis while answering the following question: From Personal to Political. Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide. An abstract is required. I was held back but soon realized that it was a personal attack – an attempt to lower my concept of self. To that extent, my salary was held below that of others with similar experience and qualifications. I was not allowed any training which would allow me to improve my skills. However, when it became clear that I was able to perform without training from my employer, I was only allowed to go on jobs that were considered very difficult and not properly planned. These were jobs that had never been completed because of the difficulty experienced over the years in obtaining necessary information. Despite the problems encountered those jobs were signed off as completed. It, therefore, meant that my work was more difficult because of unresolved issues that would obviously keep coming to the fore.

It is important to note that at no point in my job was I ever told by my superiors that they had any problem with my work. However, there was a point when there were obvious signs that some persons were bent on discrediting my ability. It led to the embarrassment of a senior staff who was misled into believing that my work was really not up to standard. To her surprise, it was way above standard. She lamented and wondered what it is that someone could have done to warrant the obviously blatant hostilities meted out towards me.&nbsp.

What should have been professionals, people of honesty and integrity were proving themselves to be otherwise. The gullible were led to believe that I was other than required as a professional. However, there were many who were part of this web of deception and whose sole aim was to tarnish my reputation as a person of ability and character. a professional who stood by the guidelines in the code of professional ethics. However, I was strong. I held onto the virtues that my parents extolled. This made them fight even harder.

Research Study Analysis

Overview

Evidence-based practice (EBP) involves the integration of evidence from empirical research and clinical expertise. EBP allows nurses to identify validated interventions, provide individualized patient care, stay updated about new medical protocols, and make well-founded decisions. Thus, understanding how research is conducted and interpreted is of vital importance. This assignment asks you to locate an empirical, quantitative research study published within the last five years and analyze specific aspects of how the study was conducted. In Modules 3, 5, 6, and 8, you will analyze a new study and will identify statistical terms and concepts present in the article. By the end of the course, you and your classmates will have created an EBP resource that could assist you in future classes or even in your professional practice.

If you are interested in learning more about EBP, this guide (Links to an external site.) provides an effective overview.

Instructions

  1. Identify a nursing-related topic or problem that you’d like to learn more about. For example, the impact of school-based physical education programs on the reduction of childhood obesity or the effect of aromatherapy on cognitive test anxiety among nursing students.
  2. Search the library databases for a scholarly journal article about this topic or problem. The article must present an empirical, quantitative study published within the last five years.
  3. Then analyze and assess the research study, examining its methodology, data analysis, and validity. To assist you in this assessment, you will use the research study analysis worksheet

Download research study analysis worksheet. Each module has its own corresponding table for you to fill in.

  4. The next step is to share your analysis with your classmates. You will do this using the Collaborations tool.
    • Click the Collaborations link in the left-side Course Navigation menu.
    • Click on the Research Study Analysis link.
    • The Collaboration will open in a new tab. You may be asked to sign in to your AZ College Microsoft Office 365 account.
    • You will then be able to copy and paste the module 3 table from the research study analysis worksheet into the Collaborations document.

How to Locate Research Articles

Use the playlist linked below to watch videos to learn more about the LIRN library and how to utilize it.

Arizona College Student Research and Training Playlist (Links to an external site.)

The following videos from the playlist are a great place to start:

A few tips to remember:

  • Use the databases. CINAHL Complete is specific to nursing topics. Academic Search Premier and Proquest are multi-subject databases. The tutorial videos cover several others that may be useful to you in your studies.
  • Narrow or limit your search results.
  • Select the orange “Ask a Librarian” icon in the lower right-hand corner (new location!) of the page if you need help.

Create a thesis and an outline on The Calculation of the Coefficient of Friction Using Projectile Motion. Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide. An abstract is required.

I need help creating a thesis and an outline on The Calculation of the Coefficient of Friction Using Projectile Motion. Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide. An abstract is required. The surface beneath the tube was lined with white paper on top of which a carbon paper was laid. The distance between the tube and the table and the ground were measured using a standard measuring tape.Several identical steel balls of measured mass (weighing machine) were taken.A laser pointer was taken and adjusted so that the laser’s beam would pass through the axis of the tube.

Analysis of the experimental setup

The ball falls through the tube due to gravitational acceleration. however, it also experiences friction while moving through the line. We note that:

While falling through the tube, the potential energy of the balls gets converted to kinetic energy. Also accounting for the loss due to friction, the conservation of energy gives that:

Where W is the energy expended due to friction.

&nbsp.&nbsp.(Kleppner & kolenklow, 2010)

Where µ is the coefficient of friction between the ball and the surface of the tube.

Thus,&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.&nbsp.

Solving for v,

Solving for v,

This gives the velocity of the ball while exiting the tube. After this, the ball is a projectile. The maximum distance traveled in the y-direction must be equal to the height of the tube H. Thus,

Or the time of projectile transit t is given by:

And therefore, the displacement of the ball in the x-direction is given by:

Also, solving for v in terms of x, it can be shown that:

This value of velocity has been obtained by the direct application of Newton’s laws of motion. This must be the same as the value obtained by the natural energy calculation. Thus,

Using the relation,

But this must be proportional to the work done by the normal force acting between the ball and the surface, that is.

Independent, dependent, and control variables

The independent variable is the variable that we change during the experiment. The dependent variables change their values when we change the independent variable. Control variables are kept constant throughout the investigation to nullify any effects that they may have on the result.

We note that the only variable that we change during the experiment is the tilt of the tube. In this experiment, this is adjusted by changing L’s value, which is related to the Tangent of the angle by the relation Ltanq=H. This, in turn, changes both the distance of projectile fall x and the value of frictional force by the association established above. Thus, the amount of the energy lost due to friction W is a dependent variable, and so is the distance of projectile fall (x). Both of these variables are related to the independent variable L by the relationship established above. The mass of the ball (m) and the height of the table (H) remain unaltered during the experiment and are the control variables.
