Provide a brief description of the team, its purpose, the organization, and the current situation. Because this is a role play, you may create hypothetical details as needed to fill “gaps” in the scenario.

For this assignment you will role play. Presume that you are the manager of one of the Uber Company and you have been asked to lead a new project team. Your task is to create a virtual team consisting of experts from across the country who will share best practices. Members of your virtual team could include some representatives from the three teams you identified in Week 1. The goal of the new, virtual project team is to enhance organizational knowledge. In your role play scenario, a number of senior organizational members expect to retire in the next few years. Capturing their knowledge and wisdom will be crucial.

Your report should cover the following:

  • Provide a brief description of the team, its purpose, the organization, and the current situation. Because this is a role play, you may create hypothetical details as needed to fill “gaps” in the scenario.
  • Evaluate how you would invite possible remote members of this new team.
  • Evaluate some of the processes used to form the team without having to incur significant travel costs.
  • Define the virtual team mission all members will authentically own.
  • Assess the external forces that could confine the team’s capabilities and decision making.
  • Assess the potential conflicts that could arise from this new virtual team.
  • Justify how you will run the virtual meetings.
  • Analyze the various types of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation needed to ensure maximum participation.
  • Defend how you will obtain management support for this venture.
  • Justify five strategic measures to demonstrate the effectiveness of the virtual team.

Utilize scholarly sources from the South University Online Library to research the processes involved in virtual team creation and operations.
Your paper must be 5 pages in length, not including the title page and reference page and must include at least five scholarly (peer-reviewed) sources formatted in APA style.

Explain any recent developments in the theoretical literature that might account for the children’s demonstrated behavior.

Assignment: Piaget

Sometimes, a theory or paradigm can be thought of as a lens through which a topic is examined. Theories or paradigm shifts may cast other ways of thinking aside, or they may layer upon one another. In the case of Jean Piaget’s theory of cognitive development, whose ideas still “permeate research on cognitive development that his influence typically is not even noticed or acknowledged,” he is still very much a giant in the field, frequently even known by laypersons with only a glancing knowledge of cognitive development (Miller, 2010). Subsequent research has applied, tested, and supplemented Piaget’s theory, particularly his concept of stages of development and related questions about domain-specific and general knowledge or quantitative and qualitative cognitive changes, to name just a few threads of inquiry.

Work continues on testing, refining, and finding new applications for Piagetian theory, and scientists often implement larger sample sizes and more technologically advanced methods than Piaget used or had available to him. For this Assignment, you examine some children’s behavior much the same way that Piaget might have done, using a small sample and carefully observing the behavior demonstrated. You will then justify how Piaget would have explained the behavior.

To prepare:

· Watch each of the four cognitive development examples in this week’s Learning Resources and decide which Piagetian concepts are depicted in each video.

The Assignment (2 pages):

· After watching each video, explain whether each child’s response to the tasks follows Piaget’s predictions. How would Piaget explain each child’s demonstrated behavior? Use Piaget’s terms and provide definitions or explanations of those terms. Explain any recent developments in the theoretical literature that might account for the children’s demonstrated behavior.

Choose three (3) methods of demonstrating reliability from the various methods of demonstrating reliability covered this week and describe them (using course readings as citations)

According to classical test theory, test reliability is based on the notion that test score reliability is comprised of two parts: true scores and error. A true score is an expected score on a test over an infinite number of testing instances; it is a theoretical idea that can never be known for sure. Errors are inaccuracies that make actual (observed) test scores differ from true scores.

There are several different ways to measure a test’s reliability. Test-retest reliability looks at the correlation between original test administrations and re-tests. The span of time between the two administrations should be less that the time for the true scores to vary. Test-retest reliability looks at error due to time.

Alternate-form reliability looks at the correlation between two different versions of a test. Split-half reliability is similar to alternative-form reliability, splitting a single test into two halves—usually odd and even items—and correlating scores on the two halves. Cronbach’s coefficient alpha is also similar, essentially providing the average of all possible split-half reliabilities. Alternate-form, split-half, and Cronbach’s coefficient alpha all look at error due to content sampling.

For this Discussion, select three test reliability methods that could be used in employment test development. Consider advantages and disadvantages of each method.

With these thoughts in mind:

Post a description of the three test reliability methods you chose. Explain advantages and disadvantages of using each method in employment test development. Be specific and provide examples. Support your response using the Learning Resources and the current literature.

My Interpretation:

  1. Choose three (3) methods of demonstrating reliability from the various methods of demonstrating reliability covered this week and describe them (using course readings as citations)
  2. For each of the three methods you choose
  3. Explain the advantages of the approach for employment testing
  4. Explain the disadvantages of the approach for employment testing
  5. Have at least four academic citations in 1 and 2 above, some drawn from the course readings.

Choose two (2) theoretical models to explain to explain Sara’s  clinical presentation and suggested treatment modalities.  Support your  ideas by discussing the models directly and specifically to Sara.

Vignette Analysis II:
Please keep your responses focused on what is presented in the  vignettes. Do not add information but use your creativity to support  what you see in the vignettes as written.  Avoid elaborations and  assumptions. This assignment MUST be typed, double-spaced, in APA style,  and must be written at graduate-level English.
Use the reading assignments thoroughly in an integrative discussion.  Remember to reference all work cited or quoted by the text author. You  should be doing this often in your responses. If you use outside resources, they should support the text information, but not replace the text.
You are encouraged to use the DSM-5 Level 2 Assessment Measure(s) to formulate your diagnosis:
http://www.psychiatry.org/practice/dsm/dsm5/online-assessment-measures#Level2
All discussions must take into account the legal and ethical  considerations, as well as issues of culture and human diversity that  may pertain to the vignettes below.  Legal and Ethical information  is in Chapter 16 of the course text. Cultural information is covered  throughout the course text and DSM 5. You may use alternative cultural  resources to enhance your work.
Your assignment should be 3-4 pages plus a title and reference page.
Sara is a 38 year old woman who was referred by her  employer for mandatory counseling. She presents as markedly underweight,  in baggy clothing.  She tested positive for amphetamine on a recent  random test at work and is on suspension. It is obvious that Sara does  not want to be there, but knows she must cooperate to get her job back.   Sara is currently taking anti-psychotic medication and mood  stabilizers.  When you ask her why, she tells you that “my shrink thinks  I’m nuts. OK, I admit that sometimes I think the devil is telling me to  kill myself, but I never do it. I just cut myself  instead. Nothing  serious, just a scratch here and there”. She admits that,  “a couple of  drinks or a line, calms the beast and the voices stop”.  She also admits  to loving excitement and risk taking.  “I love it when my mind races  and I just hop in the car and go.  Messes with my job sometimes, but who  cares”.
During your psychosocial assessment, you learn that Sara  was born in Japan.  Her father was a Native-American spirit-seeker.  He  came to Japan to study Eastern Religions where he met her mother, who  she describes as, “a meek and quiet little Japanese woman”. When Sara  was 8 years old, they left Japan and moved to the United States, living  with her father’s family. She appears nervous talking about this time of  her life, but does admit it was a dark and fearful time, except for her  grandmother, who she loved deeply, but died when Sara was age 14.
At age 15, she began seeing spirits of her deceased  grandmother. She wondered if this was a spiritual sign. It saddened her  so much, that she began self-abuse, strict dieting and substance use at  about that age. She believes that the devil tells that her grandmother’s  death, “was all my fault. I deserve to suffer”.  Her guilt and  self-loathing have prevented her from committing to a relationship. She  has been dating the same man for 15 years who she describes as, “too  good for me. I don’t know why he hangs around”.
1. Formulate a Differential Diagnosis for Sara.  What comorbid  disorders might you see?  Support your ideas by discussing what you see  in the vignette utilizing your course readings thoroughly in your diagnostic formulation.  What information would you look for to confirm your diagnostic impression and why?
2. Choose two (2) theoretical models to explain to explain Sara’s  clinical presentation and suggested treatment modalities.  Support your  ideas by discussing the models directly and specifically to Sara.
(Remember to consider culture, law and ethics when diagnosing and treating)
