Relate your personality to at least 3 theories covered in this course. Describe each theory in detail. What environmental factors do you think shaped your personality?

Part I

Complete the following tests;

Test 1: http://similarminds.com/cattell-16-factor.html

Test 2: http://www.personalitytest.net/ipip/ipipneo300.html

Test 3: http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp

Print a .pdf file or take a screenshot of your results. Please be sure to include these documents as part of your assignment submission.

You should also include a one-page reflection for each personality test. A reflection may include whether you think the test results were an accurate depiction of you, what you thought of the test questions, or thoughts on the trait being measured.

Part II

Conduct an interview with an older individual and write a four page paper detailing your experience. Ask them to tell you their life story. Begin the paper by describing who you interviewed, how you met them or know them. Based on your interview, assess their personality in terms of Erikson’s developmental theory. Be sure to explain Erikson’s theory as you describe it. How did they resolve the various stages? Where do you believe they fit now? You should also comment on other aspects of their personality, but be sure to spend at least half the paper on Erikson’s theory.

Part III

Describe and reflect on your own personality in a 3-5 page paper. When doing so, include the following points:

  • Relate your personality to at least 3 theories covered in this course. Describe each theory in detail.
  • What environmental factors do you think shaped your personality?
  • How has your personality changed over time? Relate your personality to one of the developmental frameworks.
  • Some researchers believe you might manifest different behaviors in different situations. Give at least one example of this in your own life.

Search the Internet and/or the Walden University Library to select an additional scholarly article related to at least one of the two cultures and the one additional factor that mark adulthood to support your Discussion post.

How cultures define adulthood vary dramatically. For some, adulthood may be religious celebration milestones and for others it may be based on a physical change or event. In still others, it may be based on legal factors such as, chronological age or marital status. For this Discussion, you will explore cultures and factors that establish adulthood. Also, you will examine the value and limitations of utilizing indicators to define adulthood.

  • From your Learning Resources, select two cultures in relation to one factor that may mark adulthood.
  • Search the Internet and/or the Walden University Library to select an additional scholarly article related to at least one of the two cultures and the one additional factor that mark adulthood to support your Discussion post.

Post, describing the two cultures in relation to the one factor you selected that may mark adulthood. Next, explain one potential value and one potential limitation related to the factor that defines adulthood in both cultures you selected.

Note: Be sure to support your postings and responses with specific references to the Learning Resources. Use proper APA format and citations.

He or she asks you to name the structures by using the correct technical language but to use layperson’s language as much as possible elsewhere.

Imagine that you are working in a neurology clinic. One of the neurologists tells you that as his or her practice is expanding, he or she is having difficulty meeting the education needs of his or her patients. Part of this problem is explaining the basic neuroanatomical structures to the patients in layperson’s language so that they understand their diagnoses and their underlying neurological impairments. The neurologist asks you to create a written guide for the patients, including both the CNS and the PNS. He or she describes what the basic neuroanatomical structures are, where they are located, how they interact, and what function they serve.

He or she asks you to name the structures by using the correct technical language but to use layperson’s language as much as possible elsewhere.

Your neuroanatomy guide should cover the following:

  • Basic neuroanatomical structures (including the CNS and the PNS, as well as the structural packaging that protects the brain from the environment)
  • Locations of these structures
  • Functions they serve (what functions damage to these areas may affect)
  • How they interact

Be sure to explain the information in layperson’s language and use graphics and pictures where helpful. Use APA format when citing material from scholarly sources such as your textbook and online notes. Include a cover page and a reference page listing the resources you used to create your guide.

Your response should be at least 2 pages long.
