I dont have a will, but I need to get my affairs in order.  My wife, Gloria, is also fifty and we have a daughter named Lydia.  Lydia is nineteen and our

I’ve worked hard to provide for my best girls and want to structure my will to maximize their comfort for many years to come.”Mr. Martin submitted personal documents to the firm so a record of his personal and business information could be created.  In anticipation of the next meeting with Mr. Martin, Ms. Helpsalot reviewed the packet of information that Mr. Martin compiled and discovered the following:Mr. and Mrs. Brad Martin have lived in Escambia County, Florida for thirty-nine years and own their home.  He has a net worth of $5,000,000 and $1,000,000 of that total is in real estate. The Martins have two burial plots in Bayview Memorial Park in Pensacola and want to utilize the Bayview Chapel and the casket, burial and funeral services of the local funeral home when their time comes.  It is important to Mr. Martin, as an organ donor, that his vital organs be donated upon his death (even though he hasn’t expressed this desire to either Mrs. Martin or Lydia).  He has thought about paying for funeral services in advance, but just hasnt gotten around to it.The Martins daughter, Lydia Martin (address: Argo Hall/UWF, 11000 University Pkwy, #4A, Pensacola, FL 32514) is a junior at the University of West Florida (UWF). She transferred to UWF after two years at Florida State University (FSU) and already has significant student loans.  All three members of the Martin family are active members of the First Baptist Church of Pensacola (500 N. If Mr. Mark Martin dies before Mr. Brad Martin, then Mr. Brad Martin wants his sister, Miss Christina Martin (address: 155 Brentwood Lane, Pensacola, FL 32505) to serve as his personal representative.Mr. Martin also wants to leave his lake house and adjoining lot (address: 8800 Fort Royal Drive, Gainesville, GA 32506), located in Lake Lanier, Georgia, to his brother Mark.  If his brother dies before Mr. Martin does, Mr. Martin wants his lake house to go to the best man in his wedding, Mr. Jason Bell (address: 855 Destin Commons, Destin, FL 32541). Mr. Martin wants to leave his dog, Gonzo, and $50,000 from one of his bank accounts to his sister, Christina Martin, so that she has the means to provide and care for his beloved dog, Gonzo. Mr. Martin further noted that in his will, that he wants to ensure that Mrs. Martin and Lydia will be protected from unbearable death taxes in compliance with Florida probate laws and rules.  He wants to provide an allowance for both Gloria and Lydia during the initial months after his death to help with their transition and grief.  Mr. Martin has reflected on the gifts he has listed and wants to ensure that the remainder of his estate goes to his surviving spouse, Mrs. Gloria Martin.
