The Essay Proposal should be about ONE page and consist of the following four sections:

1.     Topic Description and Significance: describe the topic briefly and explain why it is important to you and to others

2.     Thesis: present your thesis statement or thesis question

3.     First Draft of Opening Paragraph

 

4.     Works Cited: list at least four sources you plan to use for this essay.

Imagine that you are an owner of a small business.  

 

You are developing your firm’s marketing communications plan.  Discuss your marketing plan and explain the importance of demographics and psychographics to your plan. 

 

Could these concepts impact your firm’s overall business strategy?  Could these concepts impact your firm’s ultimate profitability?  How?
