Class Facilitation Strategies     
Classroom Management Resource – You will be designing a resource for teaching assistants or interns who may be helping to facilitate the training, but who have little to no experience dealing with difficult people. 

This training resource should reflect the materials discussed and lessons learned over the course of the semester (as a starting point).

 Envision a specific “audience” (K-12, online, higher education, professional training, church, etc.) for your resource, it is expected that the materials included be focused on the field of Communication Studies in some way and should include helpful tips for dealing with multiple personality types that may exist. 

This resource should demonstrate your abilities to process and synthesize course concepts and engage in critical communication pedagogy.

Create a FAQ – 10 questions and responses (each question/response should be 100-200 words). Examples include: What do you do when a student is talking in the back of the room? What do you do when a student comes in late to class? How do you handle a student who is always playing on their phone? Use a minimum of five sources.

Although APA style is not required, solid academic writing is expected.

This assignment uses a scoring guide. Please review the scoring guide prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.

Professor and class,

The article assigned last week was a research study on the effectiveness of nursing interventions to prevent dry eyes in adult ICU patients (de Araujo et al., 2019). These two nursing interventions: liquid artificial tears and artificial tears gel were compared to determine which is more effective for eye dryness in this group of patients. The result showed that the gel was more superior than the liquid in preventing dry eyes. Some patients are more vulnerable to eye dryness than others. Nevertheless, the condition that the patients may be in might increase their vulnerability. It is the nurses responsibility to properly assess those patients in order to implement this finding into practice. As we learned from nursing school, the assessment is the first step in the nursing process. Therefore, it is important for nurses to acquire the skills necessary to perform good assessment of their patients to discover problems early on so treatment can be implemented. In this studied case, I could suggest that the gel be put as a standing order for all adult patients in the intensive care unit as preventative measure for eye dryness before it develops.

“Nurses are in a unique position to foster the translation of research into practice” (Houser, 2019 p. 450). Because nurses are in the frontline of healthcare, nurse‐led research is more and more identified as a critical pathway to practical and effective ways of improving patient outcomes. A thorough research study is when its finding is disseminated (Curtis et al.,2017). Dissemination can be done through journals, presentation via poster or podium at local, regional or national conferences. The only way that researchers know if the interventions they test really benefit the patients is when the findings are put into practice. Therefore, translating research findings into practice is an important part of the research.
