Lesson Plan: Review the SEI lessons in the Google drive folder. Choose a grade level band of the ELP standards from the Language Strand to review. Create a either a grammar or listening/speaking lesson plan for a proficiency level of Els at a specific grade level band. For instance, you may choose to create a lesson plan for EL students at Stage III in fourth grade at the Emergent proficiency level.
At a minimum, your lesson plan must include:
• Grade level & ELP Proficiency Level of the Students (Pre-Emergent, Basic, L
Intermediate, H Intermediate, Proficient)
• Learning Goal
• Success Criteria
• Appropriate Grade Level Arizona State Standard for the content and grade level of the
lesson
• Arizona ELP Language strand standards
• Sequence of activities and instructional strategies that demonstrate how you might highly
engage El students in the lesson.
