THIS LESSON PLAN IS BASED ON THE FOLLOWING OBJECTIVE: Students will be able to successfully add and subtract fractions with different denominators For this assignment, you’ll create a lesson plan incorporating one or more online resources to teach one or more specific standards. The Jim Crow lesson demonstrated how both digital images and a variety of online resources could be used in a lesson. It’s a model for you – use it to guide your thinking! This lesson plan covers a single lesson. That means instruction taking one period (45-90 minutes) to complete. The Jim Crow lesson is an example, but recall my saying it couldn’t be finished in a single period? I stuffed it because I wanted to demonstrate multiple ways online resources could be used. Use the Lesson Plan Template provided, open it and place the cursor in the appropriate box, and type your content. The template will expand as needed. Use the Lesson Plan 1 Rubric to ensure your plan incorporates all required components. See the hotlinks in the checklist? If you need to refresh your understanding of the content represented in that row of the checklist, following the link will take you to relevant resources.
