select two threads you wish to reply to and address your classmates’ thoughts and ideas. The goal of these two posts is to build on the material provided by your classmates. Thus, responses that simply affirm the thread material are not sufficient. The content of each reply must reflect an excellent knowledge of the textbook reading and interact with both the thread and relevant chapter material. You must support your thoughts and ideas by implementing at least one significant quote from Everyday Bible Study. Each response post should be at least 200 words in length.

Looking at the bible in theology, which is the bible of God’s story. The purpose of God’s plan was to fix what Adam and eve destroyed, To restore what was lost. God had a plan to redeem the lost, and He redeemed the lost through blood and sacrifice of Jesus Christ’s death. God had a purpose to restore the bond with us before it was lost through sin.
Jesus Christ lived the perfect, sinless life; he is righteous. God credits us with Christ’s righteous life (everyday bible study p.g6).
Taking our prayers, confessions, to God he is the one who pleads for us.
Through Christ’s Ascension, we should not be lost as believers. It is through the work of Christ that it impacts Christian lives. God is a covenant keeper. He remains faithful to the relationship he restored. The perfect life of Christ is of great value to Christians as we live in grace every day.
Christmas is the season where Christians can have time to reflect on Christ being born into the world, and Easter is the sacrifice and victory Christ made for us to set us free.
Triangles
The gospel is defined as the gospel of Jesus Christ. Now I want to make clear for you, brothers and sisters, the gospel I preached to you, which you received, on which you have taken your stand[†] 2and by which you are being saved if you hold to the message I preached to you — unless you believed in vain. (1 Cor 15:1-2)
In the old testament, the people of Israel followed the laws that guided and showed Israel’s people how to create a relationship and worship God. The old testament shows Israel’s people how they were to be in a relationship with one another.
Christians in the modern world choose not to follow the old testament, as many laws don’t apply in modern Christianity.
Circles
If we all want to make it to heaven, why are some people living by the old testament and some people live by the new testament? Why not live by both testaments?
How is it that some Christians only celebrate Christ on certain holidays such as Easter or Christmas? Shouldn’t Christ be honored every day?
Hearts
Christ sacrificed his life for mankind, and that he restored the bond that was lost. It is excellent that Christians get to celebrate the birth and the resurrection of Christ on special holidays.

To better interpret the Bible, it is important to understand it contextually and categorically. It is best to study the immediate context and sometimes the larger section surrounding the passages and the entire book of the Bible in which the passage is found. Some scripture, such as Proverbs, just states what it states. Misinterpreting the Bible, since it is our true guide to living, can cause us to misapply it to our lives which can be costly.
The Bible is about God though Jesus is the focal point because he uses him to accomplish his plans. It is about His majesty, power, love, character – that he wants us to develop, and plan for our lives. Throughout the Bible, he proves and reveals who He is. He is the same today as He was back then. He is still able and deserves all the glory. “For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God” (Hebrews 3:4).
God has a purpose and plan for our lives. He does have plans to prosper us and give us hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11). God proves this every time he gives us another chance and through the intercession and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. He wants to restore us to his original plan, before Adam and Eve sinned, for us to live abundant and enjoyable lives. “God plans to fix what was broken when Adam and Eve disobeyed God’s instructions. He plans to rescue, redeem, and restore all that was lost through this rebellious act”. (Cartwright&Hulshof (2019). (p. 4). If we are alive, it is not too late. All we must do is connect to him through Jesus, by repenting, trusting, worshipping, studying, and obeying His word and allowing the Holy Spirit into our hearts to help us be in alignment with His purpose and plan for our lives.
God and Jesus are readily available to us, but do we always go to them? Are we surrendering our lives and troubles to them? It is good to know that the Almighty and powerful God wants to help us. He is readily available to us because he loves us that much. When Jesus shed his blood on the cross and sacrificed his life, not only were we cleansed and given another chance, but the veil was torn giving us direct access to God. Since then, we have been able to go to them ourselves for guidance, help, and as a way of getting to know them better, but some of us do not always do that. Instead, we sometimes make things harder for ourselves and try to do things our way and it is not until we’ve failed repeatedly that we go to God. (Cartwright&Hulshof (2019). (p. 4). Jesus said, “My yoke is easy, and my burden is light” (Matthew 11:30). We won’t become successful until we are in his will. If he wants to use us, he will anyway. Like Jonah, it takes some of us a long time to surrender, but it only took one encounter for the Apostle Paul (when he was known as Saul) to surrender. We must let go and let God have his way and it will work out for our good and glorify him.
Angles
God did not have to send and use Jesus to show us the way of living and teaching-including the parables to understand better, but he did. We could have been left to figure it out the way ourselves.
The depth of Christ’s death. “In Christ’s death, God credits us with Christ’s righteous life. In this great exchange, we inherit his righteousness, and he takes our sin. The flawless life of Christ is significant to you and me as we daily walk in grace”. (Cartwright&Hulshof (2019). (p.6) That’s real love!
God does not save us then leave; he sustains us if we stay close to him. Sometimes he brings us back without our asking. James 4:8 states that if we, “Draw near to God, He will Draw near to us”.

Why did God allow the union of Jacob and his cousins, Rachel and Leah?
Why did some of the Israelites doubt God after all the Egyptian plaques and after He delivered them out of Egypt?
Love
I love that God loves us so much! I love that Jesus intercedes on our behalf in heaven and when Satan falsely accuses us. I am a witness to this and all I can say is Thank You, Jesus! I love that God is faithful and never gives up. We owe him everything for being Who He Is and all that He is doing and has done for us.
