On February 23, 1991, one of the most tragic fires to date happened at 1 Meridian Plaza in Philadelphia. As a result of this fire and the deaths of several Philadelphia firefighters, many codes were changed that affected different fire protection systems in high-rise buildings.
Research the 1 Meridian Plaza tragedy. After completing your research, write a review of this tragedy, concentrating on codes and fire protection systems that contributed to this tragedy, tying these to this unit’s readings.
