Please answer each of the following essays. This is untimed, but you need to submit it by the time we return for class on Monday! Each essay is worth ten points, but there is extra credit available if you do a phenomenal job. Remember that you are trying to show that you’ve read and understand the play, so the more you can write that expresses that, the better!
ESSAY 1: If you were directing a production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream and could set it in any place and time, where/when would you set it? Support your answer with a detailed explanation.
ESSAY 2: Discuss the four groups of characters in the play and what “worlds” they live in. How do those worlds interact and why is that important?
And the instructions are listed in the attachments and the source is in the attachments as well.

The major shopping areas in the community of Springdale include Springdale Mall, West Mall, and the downtown area on Main Street. A telephone survey has been conducted to identify strengths and weaknesses of these areas and to find out how they fit into the shopping activities of local residents. The 150 respondents were also asked to provide information about themselves and their shopping habits. The data are provided in the file SHOPPING. The variables in the survey can be found in the file CODING.
In this exercise, some of the estimation techniques presented in the module will be applied to the Springfield Shopping survey results. You may assume that these respondents represent a simple random sample of all potential respondents within the community, and that the population is large enough that application of the finite population correction would not make an appreciable difference in the results.
Managers associated with shopping areas like these find it useful to have point estimates regarding variables describing the characteristics and behaviors of their customers. In addition, it is helpful for them to have some idea as to the likely accuracy of these estimates. Therein lies the benefit of the techniques presented in this module and applied here.
Item C in the description of the data collection instrument lists variables 7, 8, and 9, which represent the respondent’s general attitude toward each of the three shopping areas. Each of these variables has numerically equal distances between the possible responses, and for purposes of analysis they may be considered to be of the interval scale of measurement.
Determine the point estimate, and then construct the 95% confidence interval for μ7= the average attitude toward Springdale Mall.
Repeat part (a) for μ8 and μ9, the average attitudes toward Downtown and West Mall, respectively.
Given the breakdown of responses for variable 26 (sex of respondent), determine the point estimate, and construct the 95% confidence interval for p26= the population proportion of males.
Given the breakdown of responses for variable 28 (marital status of respondent), determine the point estimate, and then construct the 95% confidence interval for p28 = the population proportion in the “single or other” category.
Assume the managers have requested estimates of the mean attitudes towards each mall with a margin of error of 0.05 for each mall. If the managers want to have 95% confidence that the sample mean will fall within this margin of error, how large should the sample size be for each mall?
Include a title page, introduction, body, conclusion, and a reference page.
The introduction should describe or summarize the topic or problem. It might discuss the general applications of the topic or it might introduce the unique terminology associated with the topic.
The body of your paper should address the questions posed in the problem. Explain how you approached and answered the question or solved the problem, and, for each question, show all steps involved. Be sure this is in paragraph format, not numbered answers like a homework assignment.
The conclusion should summarize your thoughts about what you have determined from your analysis in completing the assignment. Nothing new should be introduced in the conclusion that was not previously discussed in the body paragraphs.
Include any tables of data or calculations, calculated values, and/or graphs referenced in the paper.
NOTE: You MUST submit your Excel file with your report. This will allow you to qualify for consideration for partial credit if any errors are found in your report.

Terms often have multiple meanings. Even the most simple concepts can be understood differently by different people, or they can have odifferent political significances for people.
For example, as the following meme suggests, for some, “gender” is simple and self-evident: either male or female. But as we have already read, gender is not so straightforward for everyone. Gender is not only personal and therefore diverse, but it is also political!
This first Key Term Check is meant to get you thinking about how your term can be differently defined by different sources. Your term is surely complex and complicated, and before you dive into how you want to define it in your paper, you need to know how it has thus far been understood by others.
For this Key Term Check, you will need to find three different definitions of your term online. You may use dictionary sources (Merriam Webster, Dictionary.com, etc.) as well as other sources such as feminist and/or LGBTQ blogs or online articles written by reputable sources. What sources you use depends on how complicated your term is and how much “digging” you have to do to find a definition.
Simply list the definitions you have found followed by the source properly cited. Failure to properly cite your sources will result in a loss of points. If you have questions about how to cite your source, you can refer to the following resource: https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/research_and_citation/mla_style/mla_formatting_and_style_guide/mla_works_cited_electronic_sources.html
