Then imagine yourself as a functionalist and a conflict theorist to convey your argument(s). You should explain clearly (1) what are the key ideas for the functionalist and conflict theories; (2) what argument (for example, the role of the government and policies) you wish to make based on each theory; (3) what evidence will support your argument; (4) the strengths and limitations of each theory in terms of explaining the issue of the rich getting richer in our society. Your essay should be two-pages long, typed, and double-spaced. Please avoid quotations altogether and use your own words.
