I have done some research. I believe that the gifts exist. please write as if you believe in the supernatural gifts of God.
escriptionEach student will turn in a 10-15-page research paper that is due 12/17.Papers that do not meet the minimum requirement of pages will have a deduction of minus ten per page on a short paper. Papers that do not use the correct formatting and font size will receive a minus ten-point deduction. The topic of the paper is up to the student, but the topic has to pertain to the class and must be approved by the professor at least two weeks prior to submission of the paper. Papers submitted without professor approval two weeks from submission will not receive higher than a B regardless of the work. This paper is not merely an opinion essay but a research paper that uses sources to argue for a certain view. In total the paper has to have 15 sources. Within those 15, a minimum of seven non-internet resources must be cited in the paper with at least two sources coming from a periodical. Internet resources are acceptable as long as there is a print version available. Articles taken from the internet must be listed correctly in both the footnotes and the bibliography. It is important to note that internet articles must have an author listed and not just a web address. A bibliography/works cited page is also required at the end of the paper but does not count to the 10-15 page count that is required. Papers handed in after the due date will receive a 10-point deduction on the first day and a one-point deduction every day thereafter including weekends and holidays

Final Project General Guidelines: I. Overall Goal: To conduct independent research and produce an in-depth written study of a topic related to class readings and discussions that demonstrates critical thinking, analytical skills, and understanding and mastery of the research materials. II. Components: The project consists of the following components: • Final Project Survey • Final Project Proposal • Final Project Draft • Final Project (Narrative, 1500 words) • Final Project (Presentation, 5 minutes) III. Suggestions: • Take inspiration from the class readings and discussions for your paper. • Build upon the writing you have done for other class assignments (such as discussion board postings and take-home assignments) and deepen your research and critical exploration on certain topics or issues. • Develop an overall research question to guide your paper. • Build a collection of research materials that includes both class readings and outside sources. • Locate and incorporate at least three outside sources (for examples, books, articles, production photos, video clips) into your paper to demonstrate your independent research efforts. The first component of the Final Project is already done: Final Project Survey. I am going to send you it because here you can find out the answers to some questions.
Now, I need the Final Project Proposal component, which one has the following instructions: *Double-space your answers. 1. Title and content: What is tentative title of the paper? What is it about? 2. Research question: What is the preliminary research question of your research paper? This can be different types of questions: What? When? How? etc. Also, this is a very important question because it gives us the thesis statement. 3. Thesis statement: What is the preliminary thesis of your research paper? It is the answer to the research questions. 4. Research Materials: What are the research materials you plan to use for your paper? What outside sources have you found that you plan to include in your paper? List the readings as the Works Cited page according to the MLA style. 5. Narrative: Provide a narrative of at least 500 words (about 2 pages) just in this part. It is about your research findings that help you explore answers to your research question and that support your thesis statement. Incorporate the research materials you list into the narrative. Provide in-text citations according to the MLA style.
Also, I am sending you a sample of the Final Project Proposal and the video of “The Drama of Sentiment India. Kutiyattam Sanskrit Theatre”: http://www.unesco.org/archives/multimedia/?pg=33&s=films_details&id=9
and the Bhasa Urubhangam reading about the Indian Theatre.
And remember the instructions where say: Locate and incorporate at least three outside sources (for examples, books, articles, production photos, video clips) into your paper to demonstrate your independent research efforts. I prefer articles or books. Thank you again!!

This assignment consists of a single short essay question. The main intent of this question is to ensure that you have a sound grasp of the fundamentals of the material presented in this unit. I’m not so concerned with whether you agree with a particular author or not. The quality of your answer is based on your exposition of the competing positions, your comparative analysis of those positions, and, lastly, your argument in support of the position you defend.
the short essay question is not designed to be a “research” question. There is no requirement to get material from external sources such as other authors, or reference websites, who have summarized or criticized, the authors you are dealing with. In effect, including such material defeats your purpose in completing your essay because you are essentially telling me what some other person thought about the material you should be explaining and assessing. If you make reference to sources external to the course readings it will be detrimental to your mark. In some cases, I may ask you to re-work and submit your assignment. The point of your essay is to formulate the course material and develop your critical response. You can do this by working with the course material and developing your own ideas about the issue. The essay is simply your opportunity to set that out in paper.
Short Essay Question: (100 marks)
Making reference to our course readings, provide a concise formulation of Utilitarianism. In particular, explain the distinction between Bentham’s and Mill’s formulations of it.
Making reference to the course readings, provide a concise formulation of Kant’s deontological ethics. In particular, explain the role of the Categorical Imperative in Kantian ethics.
In light of the criticisms offered of both accounts from the course readings, which account is more plausible? Provide an argument in support of your conclusion.
