Search for and select a quantitative article specific to your discipline and related to correlation or regression. Help with this task may be found in the Course guide and assignment help linked in this week’s Learning Resources. Also, you can use as guide the Research Design Alignment Table located in this week’s Learning Resources.
By Day 3
Write a 3 paragraph critique of the article. In your critique, include responses to the following:
What is the research design used by the authors?
Why did the authors use correlation or bivariate regression?
Do you think it’s the most appropriate choice? Why or why not?
Did the authors display the data?
Do the results stand alone? Why or why not?
Did the authors report effect size? If yes, is this meaningful?

612 7-1 Responses *** You will reply to 2 classmates’ threads. At least 1 paragraph in length. They must be on the same page but LABLED WHO’s is WHOSE. The first paragraph should be labeled (Andrew Braunstein) and the other one should be labeled (Donald King)****** 1. Do you agree or disagree? 2. Why or why not?
Andrew Braunstein I find this answer to be very simple and uncomplicated. If you have to ask yourself if something is right or wrong, usually your intuition will tell you it is wrong or unethical. I firmly believe, especially in professional research projects, to present all of the relevant data and information to your superiors. It is usually their decision to make and they are the ones taking responsibility for the choice. But, if you present all of your findings, including the contradictory aspects, it opens up the lines of communication and allows people to think had about the decisions so they can make the best one for the future. Also, providing contradictory information or data can also help strengthen the original argument or point. Research reports are similar to persuasive arguments where you state your case, provide analysis for your case, make a brief concession of the opposing side, explain its relevancy, and then tie it back in to your original argument. I find that acknowledging the contradictions shows that you have done thorough research and makes you and your case more credible. In short, present all of the relevant facts and data, and make the decision that you feel is the best course of action. You may be right or you may be wrong, but usually, it is somewhere in between and the topic can morph and adapt as time goes by. 612 7-1 Responses *** You will reply to 2 classmates’ threads. Donald King Research is expected to be scientific. Scientific research utilizes the Scientific Method, which is a 7-step method that asks a clear question that is testable, identifies either qualitative or quantitative data, and allows the researcher to analyze the data. A very important part of the analyzation is that results should be able to be repeated if the experiment is run under the same circumstances. To be clear and transparent, and to retain the trust of your audience, it is critical that you report your findings as is. For one thing, dishonesty to justify obtaining your objective is likely to backfire on you or lead to liability if you have presented false information. To be clear, hiding or omitting data because it contradicts what you are hoping to achieve is deceitful and dishonest. When you enter into research or a study, you are intended to be an objective researcher that is seeking answers. When you behave with good character and honesty, you are considered ethical.

n this paper, you will describe a problem associated with gendered violence and then propose a viable solution to this problem. A problem-solution paper requires that you explain the problem in detail and provide a context for why this problem needs to be solved and how you will solve it. The solution part of the essay must be convincing and feasible, and it must specifically address the problem you have described. This discussion should include terms and concepts from course material on gendered violence as well references to external scholarly sources.
Please be advised: 2 peer reviewed sources are needed as well as 2 references from the book. Please let me know if access to the book will be needed.
