Introduction
As you complete Part 3 of the project charter, keep in mind the overall aim of the project including the SMART objectives developed earlier. Both will help develop the measures for success.
Demonstration of Proficiency
By successfully completing this assessment, you will demonstrate your proficiency in the course competencies through the following assessment scoring guide criteria:
Competency 2: Analyze a health care issue from a leadership perspective, applying quality improvement principles and evidence-based standards.
Analyze organizational or systemic strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats relative to the identified project aim.
Competency 3: Develop a project charter that addresses a potential gap, problem, or opportunity within a health care system.
Develop appropriate project communication strategies.
Describe important project constraints.
Analyze external dependencies that may impact the project.
Describe measures that will be used to determine the success of the project.
Competency 4: Develop a data management plan, including a plan for ethical stewardship for data use and communication.
Create a plan for collecting and managing project data.
Create guidelines designed to assure the ethical stewardship of patient data.
Note: It is strongly suggested that you revise Parts 1 and 2 based on faculty feedback from the previous assessments as you will likely use this charter in your program keystone course.

Complete Part 3 of the project charter. Be succinct but be sure to include all required information. Include evidence-based rationale and cite appropriately using APA. Include the reference list on the last page of the charter.
