Tell my why the play is important? Did it promote a new stage technology? Did it change the way that people thought about what theatre could do at the time? Was is particularly significant in terms of developing a new style of theatre? Was it in response to an important historical/ political/ world event? Why does this play matter in the world?
You may use 1-2 outside scholarly texts to support your argument (properly cited), but the vast majority of your argument should come from you. All citations (you will at the very least need to properly cite your play script) should be in MLA formatting. Italicize all play titles, Underline all musical numbers if applicable.
