This is your essay assignment: Stellar is from another planet where sex differen

This is your essay assignment:
Stellar is from another planet where sex differences and a dichotomous gender system do not exist, nor are there race or class differences. Stellar’s mission on Earth, after landing in the U.S., is to describe the ways that gender affects (1) employment/work and (2) family/parenting. Stellar is preparing a final report for its colleagues. Your essay is that report.
The essay question should be answered as fully and completely as possible, drawing from all of the information covered in the course since the midterm/week 7 (do NOT use material from the first half of class, and only use course materials—see list below). Use specific examples from the course materials (readings, class lectures/power-points, films – see list below) — whatever information you can marshal to give the best possible answer. (Remember: the basic question for the essay is: how does gender affect employment/work and family/parenting?)
Instructions and requirements for essay: READ THESE CAREFULLY AND FOLLOW!!!
Your essay must include discussions of (1) employment/work AND (2) family/parenting.
You must address at least THREE DISTINCT points/examples in each of the two above areas that are to be discussed in your essay (employment/work and family/parenting).
You MUST ALSO address the ways in which gender is experienced in these two areas depending on one’s race and/or social class with at least ONE example in your essay to receive full credit (Do not forget this or you will lose points!). For EXTRA CREDIT of 5 points you can include a second example from class materials from weeks 7-13 about the impact of race.
Your essay must include discussions of the findings from Hochschild’s The Second Shift. Make sure to include at least TWO specific examples from the book – i.e., examples from the six specific couples we read about (Holts, Delacortes, Tanagwas, Judsons, Shermans, Winfields)—that is, the details of a specific couple’s marriage (do not summarize the three different gender ideologies; you can discuss the gender ideologies as they pertain to your discussion of specific couples). Make sure the two examples from The Second Shift are distinct (e.g., make sure to mention different findings, not just different couples), and make sure to explain how gender matters (don’t just describe/summarize a couple).
In addition to The Second Shift, you must cite/draw examples for at least THREE other readings/articles from weeks 7-13 (see list of readings below; also look at syllabus).
Remember, DO NOT USE DIRECT QUOTES; Paraphrase (write in your own words) your summary/understanding of course materials. Your examples should be in your own words drawing from what you’ve learned from the class material. You do not get credit for material presented that are quotes from the readings.
Make sure your essay has an introduction, a conclusion, a reference page for works cited (using ASA format and has a logical flow (further instructions about reference page format can be found in blackboard under the course information link). You will lose points on your essay if you do not follow these instructions of what needs to be included in your final.
IMPORTANT!: You can write the essay in a standard format, or if you feel creative you can write it in the ‘first person’ as if you are Stellar. This is your choice. Choose the format you are most comfortable with.
The essay should be double-spaced with a 12 pt font. There are no page requirements; it should be as long as you need it to be to fulfill all the requirements (see above).
You must upload the essay to SafeAssign for me to grade it. Please submit it by 12/15. You can hand it in earlier (and if you hand it in earlier there may be a chance for you to have time to revise if you get below a 90; if you hand it on (or after) 12/15 there will not be time for revisions before grades are due).

This essay must be minimum one paragraph, but it’s allowed to be multi-paragraph

This essay must be minimum one paragraph, but it’s allowed to be multi-paragraph. I have the choice to pick one of four prompts. I will leave that up to you based on what you know about the novel. The prompts are as listed: Fate and free will are key themes in this novel. From your perspective, how does the novel highlight or acknowledge the differences between the two and how is Ed impacted by both, or is he? In your opinion, how much control does one truly have in life?
How do the struggles of life connect to one’s identity? How does the novel portray this idea? What are ways in the novel that people mask or cover up their struggles? How does Ed mask his struggles internally, externally, or both? In your opinion, can we all connect in some way to Ed’s life?
Coming of age is a major theme in this novel. Ed encounters physical, emotional and intellectual challenges. Which, in your opinion, is the most testing of the challenges he faces, and how does that support Ed’s coming of age? In your opinion, how does one’s growth and challenges in life intertwine?
“I’d rather chase the sun than wait for it” (306). This is one of many wise sayings in which Zusak speaks through the eyes of Ed. Others include: “Have you ever noticed that idiots have a lot of friends? It’s just an observation” (37). “I want words at my funeral. But I guess that means you need life in your life” (301). “Tradition can be a dirty word. Especially around Christmas” (303). Detail how these quotes relate to Zusak’s “message” in the book. In your opinion, what is the main message he wants us to learn through Ed’s experiences? How does the novel support your idea?
I don’t care about exact word count, just as long as it’s at least one paragraph and answers one of the prompts! Thank you!

As one of the most widely-used prescriptions withdrawn from the market, Rofecobi

As one of the most widely-used prescriptions withdrawn from the market, Rofecobix highlights issues facing public health leaders during a drug recall. With approval by the Food and Drug Administration in 1999, Merck marketed the drug for public use. In 2004, the drug was recalled for safety and cardiovascular problems developed in patients taking the medication (Topol, 2004). With nearly $2.5 billion dollars in sales and over 80 million people exposed to the drug, Merck’s recall turned into a public firestorm of litigation cases against the corporation.
In this week’s article by Topol, the author addresses the scandal surrounding safety concerns and the drug recall of Rofecobix. Use the Learning Resources as well as 3 additional resources from the Walden Library, current events, etc.
In the paper include the following sections:
o A summary of the facts associated with the case including the primary leaders
o A description of skills and traits of the primary leaders in this case
Support your Assignment with specific references to all resources and current literature used in its preparation. You are to provide a reference list for all resources, including those in the Learning Resources for this course.

Now that you know what you are buying, the requirements, and the types of contra

Now that you know what you are buying, the requirements, and the types of contracts, you are ready to put the contracts out for bid. Continue to develop your procurement plan, and align it with the rest of the project plan by deciding which bidding methods you will use for each of the following contracts:
Hiring technicians to install and configure the software for your environment
Hiring a training entity to teach the student PMs the mechanics of using the new tool
Buying a new server and software to run the tool and house the project database
Hiring tool usage experts to transfer knowledge to the student PMs about the use of the tool on the job for the first 60 days after going live
Planning for the removal and disposal of scheduling tool software and hardware that are no longer to be used
Assignment Guidelines
For each of the contracts above, address the following questions:
Which bidding method will you use? Why?
Were there other possible bidding methods that you considered for this contract? Explain.
How does this procurement task of bid selection integrate with the rest of the project for ADC?
Once you have selected the ideal bidding method and a bidder has been accepted, how will you ensure that the quality of the final product will be measured effectively?
What challenges will you need to overcome when measuring and ensuring quality? Why?
How will you overcome these challenges?
Compile your responses for each question into 150–200 wordss
Include additional title and reference slides.
