Dannon Case Study

Please write a 1 page response to the following question:

Does the case suggest that a consensus has been reached? Is this simply Newirths decision or is it a collective one?  Is there a pressing need for Dannon to advertise its CSR efforts?  Would it substantially improve its marketing?  Explain.

A teammate has already started the question. I need the written paper to pick up or add additional information to what has already been written below:

Newirth sought many opinions (see #4) but there was not much of a consensus besides all of them recognizing the money would have to come from somewhere and might take away from their other marketing goals and general profitability.  None were convinced it was a pressing need; even supportive Claudia Sargeant noted it as a would like and not a must have.  It is unclear if Dannons marketing would be substantially improved: very hard to measure the ROI.
However, the case ends with him sort of saying why not and suggesting hes pretty sure it would grow the business to go public with the CSR and develop a plan to do so.  Its unclear what was said from those he consulted that made him feel like the brand would grow if they went public with a CSR marketing campaign.  Kind of a confusing ending after everything that was said wheres this money coming from?  It does seem like it was his decision to bring to the executive committee meeting or not.
Dannon should begin to proactively communicate to consumers its CSR plans. Communication with the consumers will improve on various issues with customers. First, it improves education on nutrition and health. If Dannon will communicate with customers, the company’s CSR activities and Dannon being the nonprofit organization with some mission, will develop and also disseminate the scientific knowledge on nutrition and diet to benefit the public health via some collaboration with scientists and academics on health professionals and nutrition research. Communication with customers will help in focusing efforts around the childrens nutrition education in manners that are pertinent to any region. The other benefit is that communication will help in the development of customers via various activities such as the danone way. This is a management tool that is meant to enable managers to assess the performance among the multiple dimensions such as environment, ethics, and quality among others. In addition, there is the integration of social goals. In essence, the company did create the nutritional education initiatives and updated the nutritional formulas of many products to be healthier. Communication will also help in bringing closer the customers and the company, and this is achieved mostly by actively involving the local communities through provision of product donations.Communication will also help Dannon and their suppliers to promote environmentally farming practices and also plan on advancing tools that incorporate sustainable development indicators into supplier monitoring and evaluation.

To get better understand about overcoming and compensation PLEASE WATCH THIS VIDEO… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aV6U3nf8RB0

I am going to attach my proposal for the final Disability Myth Project; based on my proposal PLEASE RIGHT MY SHITTY PAPER.

IN SIDE THE PROPOSAL My Thesis need to Edited to something like this….

One of the disability myths that Dolmage scrutinizes is overcoming and compensation. This myth demonstrates how society can misinterpret peoples inherent unique abilities as the cause for overcoming their disability, and therefore masks the underlying struggles that the individual lives with. This myth can be seen in the movie The Butterfly Circus. This movie portrays the ideas of the overcoming and compensation disability myth through the main character, Will, who has no limbs. The film showcases a number of complex scenes where disabled people in 1930s freak shows had the least power and were exploited, yet banded together because it was the only way to survive. Yet, the film also underhandedly exploits the supercrip and inspirational narrative through Wills character that we see so common in films today.

ALSO, my secondary source the below and the files will be attached:

Introduction
The intent of the assignment is to give the student the opportunity to critique directional strategies at the organizational and functional levels. More specifically, this assignment is designed to get the student critically examining the form and style of visions, missions (purposes), and core values, as well as examine the degree of congruency between these vital components of strategic formulation. In addition to critiquing directional strategies, the student will be use available information to conduct a SWOT analysis, and then formulate strategic goals.

Directions
There are three separate products associated with this Units application assignment. First, you will critique the directional strategy of your chosen department. Second, you will conduct a SWOT analysis. Third, you will develop strategic goals for you department.

Critiquing Strategic Direction

The student will critique the vision and mission (purpose) statements of the healthcare organization, for which his or her department is a part, as well as the department itself using the criteria contained in the sources listed below. Furthermore, the student will determine the degree of alignment between the organizations and departments core values and its corresponding mission (purpose) statements. Finally, as part of this initial analysis, the student will need to evaluate the level of congruency between the vision, mission (purpose), and core values at the departmental (or functional) and the organizational levels.

The student will repeat the above process; however, he or she will select a healthcare organization that is the OPPOSITE business structure. SWOT Analysis

Perhaps one of the most popular techniques associated with the strategic planning process is the construction and analysis of a SWOT, which is the acronym for strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The SWOT is used to compile and present internal data related to the strengths and weaknesses of an organization (or, in your case, the healthcare department) and the external environment in which an organization operates. So far, in the course, you have been tasked with performing external and internal analyses using several techniques (service area analysis, five forces analysis, competitor analysis, value chain analysis, and ASSIST analysis). This will certainly aid you in constructing a well-developed and comprehensive SWOT.

The submission should reflect higher-level cognitive processing (analysis, synthesis, and evaluation), which is essential for someone being prepared to serve in an operational capacity within the healthcare and related industry. To earn the maximum number of points, the submission should reflect graduate-level execution with clear evidence of critical thinking, synthesis of relevant information from credible sources, and clear mastery of the concepts necessary to successfully execute each component of the assignment.

First, begin with a business memorandum. Beginning from the next page, prepare a SWOT analysis in a 2×2 table format (separated by a page break from the memorandum). The memorandum should not exceed two (2) pages in length and only provide highlights of key points raised within the SWOT analysis. There is no maximum or minimum length to the SWOT analysis table, however, you are encouraged to keep it clear, logically organized, and concise with a focus on avoiding unnecessary information.

Finally, the memorandum and SWOT analysis should be prepared as a practical business deliverable (single-spaced) and include at least three (3) references of credible or peer-reviewed sources to support any suppositions and recommendations. The in-text citations and the list of references must adhere to the APA writing style (7th ed.). Finally, the document should be prepared as a Microsoft Word document and uploaded to Submit Assignment.
