As the Utilization Management (UM) Coordinator at a hospital, you have created a Monthly Utilization Report by Major Practice Category (MPC) graphic. The graphic is on the agenda for discussion at the next UM committee meeting, and your administrator has specifically requested that you discuss the Infectious Disease MPC data generated by the report

Using Word (or any word processing program), prepare a brief summary report discussing how actual data results vary as compared with expected data results. Provide suggestions for why the variance occurred. You are permitted to include quantitative data in the statement (e.g., percentages, etc.).
The summary report should contain at least three paragraphs, and each paragraph must contain at least four sentences. Students are encouraged to have fun! with the assignment. (For example, a past student attributed the increased cases of infectious disease to a zombie apocalypse. That made for an interesting read for this professor.)
