Orthello ando’

With Aristotles requirements and vocabulary in mind, reflect upon the relationship between Shakespeares Othello and Nelsons O. Did the adaptation of the Renaissance tragedy to a modern high school setting work for you? Were there elements of the film that you felt transposed Shakespeare more successfully than others? If so, describe what worked and what didnt, and also explain why you think the way you do.  In other words, reflect upon these questions: 1) Does O enact enough of Othellos plot to preserve its tragic soul, or do you feel that something is missing? 2) Did its characters and their motives fly high enough (like a Hawk) to produce in you feelings of catharsis? 3) Also make sure that you refer to specific moments in the play and in the film.

Im asking you here to exercise your own aesthetic judgment.  You are not writing to please me or anyone else. But you are doing your writing in light of a theory of tragedy that has been influential in world culture for nearly two and a half millennia, and therefore should not to be too easily dismissed.

Secularization – Cause or Consequence?

The textbook describes several patterns and trends in religiosity across countries over time.  What are the major patterns and trends?  How does the United States differ, if at all, from the patterns in Western Europe and other members of the OECD?

In your essay, it may help to jump forward in the book to frame your response in relation to the six hypotheses described in Conclusions (pp. 215-241.  The bulk of the material, or fodder for your answer is in Chapter 4 (pp. 83-110).

Be as specific as space allows for an essay of no more than  2,500 words. Cite your material appropriately.

NSG6203 South Similarities Between Rogers Theory & Personal Philosophy Paper

Hey my favorite tutor, answer this?

  • I like the fact that you put the “whole human being” in the center of the concept of learning, great idea. Your thoughts parallel Rogers’ science of unitary human beings. In your opinion, what are the similarities between Rogers’ theory and your personal philosophy? What are the differences?

It stems from this post? Of course from my favorite tutor!

The Merriam Webster dictionary defines holism as a theory that living natures in the universe are interacting wholes. This concept of holism is intertwined throughout nursing education. Nursing practices that are holistic are emerging to be common concepts in nursing education, calling for nursing educators to incorporate these teachings as they promote workplace civility, lowers compassion fatigue, and do prevent burn-out. ( Morton et al. 2015) As a nursing educator, I need to come up with proper strategies that shall promote the teachings of holism.

QSEN and IOM Recommendations

The Quality and Safety Education for Nursing (QSEN) recommends that holistic learning should be those learning activities where students are made to make a reflection on ways to connect traditional nursing therapies to nontraditional ones to help patients heal in spirit, mind, and body. (Stalter et al. 2017) In 2016, the Institute of Medicine (IOM) produced a report that made recommendations on holism and issues pertaining to nursing in general. The first recommendation was building a common ground within the area of nursing and other policy related issues. The IOM committee recommended that nursing education needs to be more inclusive and incorporate more stakeholders. ( Rodriguez, 2013 )The recommendations also proposed that nursing educators should work with other more health professional groups, policymakers, and the community for them to have a common ground. Having a common ground will then remove practice restrictions and introduce interprofessional collaboration.

Course Competencies

My role, therefore, as a nursing educator will be to help my learners be able to treat patients through both traditional and non-traditional medical therapies. I will also assess whether my learners have mastered this art of holism and if not come with strategies that will improve their learning. One of the key pillars of South University College is holism. Therefore as a nursing educator, I will need to instill in the learners this concept of wholeness until they master it and can apply in their upcoming professional lives. (Hoke & Robbins, 2016 )
