As a future social worker, you will stand on the shoulders of many individuals who have come before you. These influential people may have fought for womens suffrage, African American rights, or poverty assistance, among other social causes. You may be familiar with their names through your textbook readings for this course, or they may be entirely unknown to you.

Through the research and writing for this Assignment, you will gain a better understanding of one social policy activist and their lasting contributions to the social work profession.

Death of Common Sense, This book contains four chapters and we will be reading it and talking about it in conjunction with text materials at various intervals during the semester as noted on reading schedule. Each student will be required to submit a summary of the chapter (not to exceed five pages) along with his/her own critical thoughts and analysis on the author’s points.
