Corning Software Co. is a custom software development company that has been hired to develop a unique piece of software that will be used with test equipment to measure RF signals and analyze data. Specifications have been given to Corning Software to review, and a contract for development has been signed. The software package will consist of a core element of programming, data extraction, analysis and storage, and an output user interface. The software will be located on a desktop PC and will have to connect to several pieces of RF test equipment. A module will be designed that connects the PC to various pieces of test equipment.

Risks that have been identified include the following: development of the data extraction and analysis portion of the software, successful development of an interface module that connects the PC to the test equipment, and correctly identified components on the user interface that will meet the customers expectations.

Corning Software will be using a predeveloped core module that has been tested and proven to be adequate for this requirement. Corning Software has contracted an external software designer to assist in the data extraction and analysis portion of the software. The software designer will be working with an internal software engineer who is later revealed to be a former coworker; it is discovered that the two did not get along. Several attempts to contact the customer to discuss details of the user interface have resulted in a lack of information. Concerns as to the ability to develop a module that can connect the PC to test equipment have not been resolved. Modules that might be capable of this activity have been discovered and might be procured. Several pieces of test equipment will need to be purchased to perform testing.

Respond to the following case study questions in the form of an essay.

1. As the PM discussing information regarding risks that have been identified for this project, identify which risks might have a reactive response mode versus a proactive response mode.

2. Identify negative risks as well as potential positive risks.

3. Determine if there are any contingency response strategies available

Part I: Pamphlet

Develop a pamphlet to inform parents and caregivers about environmental factors that can affect the health of infants.
Use the “Pamphlet Template” document to help you create your pamphlet. Include the following:
Select an environmental factor that poses a threat to the health or safety of infants.
Explain how the environmental factor you selected can potentially affect the health or safety of infants.
Offer recommendations on accident prevention and safety promotion as they relate to the selected environmental factor and the health or safety of infants.
Offer examples, interventions, and suggestions from evidence-based research. A minimum of three scholarly resources are required.
Provide readers with two community resources, a national resource, and a Web-based resource. Include a brief description and contact information for each resource.
In developing your pamphlet, take into consideration the healthcare literacy level of your target audience.

Part II: Pamphlet Sharing Experience

Share the pamphlet you have developed with a parent of an infant child. The parent may be a person from your neighborhood, a parent of an infant from a child-care center in your community, or a parent from another organization, such as a church group with which you have an affiliation.
Provide a written summary of the teaching / learning interaction. Include in your summary:
Demographical information of the parent and child (age, gender, ethnicity, educational level).
Description of parent response to teaching.
Assessment of parent understanding.
Your impressions of the experience; what went well, what can be improved.

Submit Part I and Part II of the Accident Prevention and Safety Promotion for Parents and Caregivers of Infants assignment by the end of Topic 1.
While APA format is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected and in-text citations and references should be presented using APA documentation guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.

He asks that a program to be written to be added to the website (Java format).

The program should do the following:

  • Ask the user for an initial Fahrenheit temperature in an integer. It will continue to ask the user to put in a temperature until it is between -500 to 250. 
  • The program will print a list of all of the temperatures in Fahrenheit and the temperatures in Celsius. The list starts from the initial temperature provided and increases by 10 degrees of Fahrenheit for each successive pair. It stops after 25 pairs are printed.
  • Each pair should appear on its own line, separated by a ‘tab’ (‘t’). It must use a single loop to print the temperatures with a correct formula.
  • The Celsius number should be printed as real number with two decimal places.
