Directions for Assignment #4
Assignment #4:  Write one (1) article critiques on the topic of special education.

    Students will select and read one  article on any topic related to special education.  Articles must be from a scholarly, peer-reviewed, journal and must relate in some way to special education. 

    For the article the student must write a one to two page article critique which contains the following sections:
o    Bibliographical citation of the article.  Must be in APA format.
o    Critique and reaction:  In this section the student will discuss the topic of the article.  Students will outline the authors development of the issue, evidence that the author presented, and the authors conclusions.  In addition the student should personally respond to the authors claims, arguments, and methods.  The student should comment on the relevant validity of the claims.
o    Connection to course content:  The article review should include a section that clearly connects the article to the content of the course and provides at least three examples of that connection

Students will understand customer behaviour by analysing how personal characteristics can influence the way the target audience responds to advertising. In addition, they will investigate how the target audience interprets and stores marketing communication messages, which will help in enabling marketers to define the important factors that will affect the targeted segment and change the behaviour of the customer.
