  2. We have also discussed the emergence of the first religious sect of Islam, who are called Khawarij by the rest of the Muslims.
  3. The Khawarij emerged during 650s while basic Islamic literature, Qur’an and Hadith were already in place and the Prophet had passed away.

Task: Find at least one Qur`anic verse or Hadith narration that Muslims use to define/understand or criticize the Khawarij. Just mention this verse or narration and write few lines about how you think this is also an example of “inverse projection”.
