Classic English literature

Write and submit a five- to eight-page literary analysis on any of the texts we’ve read this term, excluding A
Raisin in the Sun. In addition to the close-reading skills you’ve used to develop your essay in weeks 1 and 2,
you will be incorporating sources into your assignment. A minimum of three intelligent sources must be used to
develop your idea in this paper. The source can be about your text directly, or it can be about the idea you are
writing about (such as water/ice, murder, siblings, money, etc.). You may use a source you have already
employed in DFs of week 6 or 7. If needed, see OWLL: Researching on how to locate and evaluate a good
source. You might also want to visit the library Comp II lib guide. It may help you remember some of the work
you did with locating sources in Comp II. Remember, you will need to include an APA or Turabian Reference

The Globe Theater’s production

So, what did you think of the Globe Theater’s production? Would you liked to have been one of the modernday groundlings milling around the stage? Would the production have kept you engaged enough to stand for so
long? Did any of the casting choices surprise you? What actors piqued your interest? How did certain elements
of staging the play – blocking, costuming, lighting, choreography – make you reconsider the play’s language or
themes?

Ethical Hacking – Penetration Test Proposal

Project 1: Rules of Engagement
Instructions

The first deliverable of the Penetration Test Proposal is the rules of engagement (ROE) document, a formal one to two page document that outlines the objectives, scope, methodology, and overall test plan agreed upon by the penetration testers and client system administrators. Penetration testing can cause complications such as network traffic congestion, system downtime, and may cause the same vulnerabilities and compromises it was designed to prevent. Due to the potential consequences of penetration testing, it is vital to agree upon a comprehensive ROE before testing.

For your ROE deliverable, consider the following:
    How will you identify Haverbrook Investment Group’s [attached] network characteristics, expectations, constraints, critical systems, and other relevant information?
    What are your preliminary engagement activities with regard to scheduling, scope, and key stakeholders?
    What will you use to establish a binding agreement between Centralia Security Lab and Haverbrook Investment Group?
    How will you determine the services, targets, expectations, and other logistics that will be covered during the Rules of Engagement section?
    How will you explain to Haverbrook that the tools and techniques to be used in the penetration test will not corrupt data, violate privacy, and are in compliance with industry standards and any applicable laws and regulations?

Use the Rules of Engagement Template [attached] to record your work.

The Condominium Association

Read/watch all assigned materials listed for the week in Course Content.
Submit learning activities to the Assignment Folder.
Refer to course materials, cases, and/or statutes to support conclusions.
Learning Activity: due 11:59 pm ET, Saturday.
Background: You and Chong are continuing to work on the Hastings case. Chong explains that synthesizing
will help in the preparation of Hastings’ case. She describes synthesis as the process of collecting several
pieces of information and law and tying (synthesizing) them together. The process of synthesizing involves:
Examining the holding of a case;
Analyzing and explaining the standards, factors, criteria, and reasoning that courts apply to the holding in a
case to reach a conclusion and resolve a legal dispute; and
Describing the law and reasoning courts apply to resolve a specific issue.
Chong points out when reading cases, statutes, or a set of opinions focused on the same issue, the synthesis
approach is often used to resolve the issue.
Chong wants you to draft a Synthesis of the Rationales report in preparation of completing a Synthesis Memo
(the complete Synthesis Memo will be completed in Project 1 in week 3) for Hastings’ case.
Instructions:

  1. Review the videos Chong has provided for your review (see Overview for links)
  2. Brief the following cases relevant to the Hastings case:
    Deering Woods Condominium Association, 377 Md. 250
    Joseph, 173 Md. App. 305
    Maans, 161 Md. App. 620
    Write a case brief for each of these cases listed above, if you have not already done so.
    Please Note: do not submit the case briefs with the Synthesis of the Rationales, but the briefing will focus your
    analysis.
  3. Draft the Synthesis of the Rationales using the cases in #2 above to analyze, explain and synthesize the law
    that applies to each case.
    The Synthesis should address the following:
    How to establish a claim of negligence in a slip and fall case;
    What must be established by the injured party (plaintiff);
    The defenses available to the property owner (defendant).
    Format:
    Synthesis of the Rationales
    Label all parts of analysis, as need
