Two to three paragraphs stating the need for, and justification of, selecting this Project topic. Who will benefit and how will they benefit from this project? Who are the major stakeholders?

Evidence Based Practice Project Proposal

Project Title

Write the name of your project.

Project Description

This should be a half page detailed description of what exactly your Project is.

Project Rationale

Two to three paragraphs stating the need for, and justification of, selecting this Project topic. Who will benefit and how will they benefit from this project? Who are the major stakeholders?

Personal/Professional Expectations

One to two paragraphs on what you hope to gain from this Project, both professionally and personally.

Project Goals

List and explain the goals of your Project. This section should address, in detail, a description of your project, what you plan to do and how you will achieve it.

PICO(T) Question

This should be a question that meets the criteria for PICO(T)

Research

Your project should also include a review of the existing research on your topic and a discussion comparing this research to your project focus. Knowing that you have already competed your literature review by this time, be sure to synthesize the research you presented in your presentation here.

Procedure

A step-by-step analysis of how you intend to meet your goals, including resources you will need, where you intend to find them, and an estimated timeline of how long each step will take. This is the major section of your proposal.

Recommendations

One half page to one whole page on your Project recommendations. By now, you have completed your proposal and have sifted through the literature. You should have a firm grasp on the problem and how you feel it should be solved, based on the evidence. You know you have a problem and you should discuss how you plan to solve it. Discuss those recommendations here.

Evaluations

One half a page to one whole page on how your Project is to be evaluated. What specifically will make your project a success, both to you and to others? This won’t be a formal evaluation, but will simply be a plan of how you would evaluate, so just describe how you would evaluate this project for effectiveness if time permitted. Also, be sure to describe the purpose of your evaluation.

Author Note

This paper is being submitted on May 31, 2020, for Candice Short’s NURS-513-COL: Theories of Nursing course.

Title of Paper

A basic paper consists of an introduction, body, and conclusion. The introductory paragraph presents the topic of the paper and typically summarizes the main points and ends with a thesis. The body of the paper covers the main points and normally includes citations to sources that support the author’s claims and information. Papers should end with a conclusion. Conclusions normally summarize the main points that were addressed, without introducing new content.

The final portion of the paper is the references section. The references section gives complete information about all of the sources that are cited in the paper. For Rasmussen papers, the reference section follows APA formatting rules. For more information on how to write a paper and use proper APA citation and formatting, please see http://guides.rasmussen.edu/englishcomposition and http://guides.rasmussen.edu/apa. For information on references in APA style, see http://rasmussen.libanswers.com/a.php?qid=168857

Remember to change this template so its information applies to you and to your classes. Keep the paragraphs indented and double spaced; do not switch to block paragraphing. Finally, please see the LLC video on how to adjust this template at http://guides.rasmussen.edu/apa (click on the APA formatting tab and then look for the APA Template box) because it identifies necessary changes that must be made. It also explains how this document can be saved as a Word template so that it may be used over and over again.
